How do you pronounce the word Either? With the E sound or the I sound :think:

i can say it both ways i think, with ''I'' it does sound better than with "E'' sound for me personally

I don't speak English on a daily basis, but when I do I believe I use a bit of both.
I do prefer the sound of I-ther though. Sounds more "British" to me, if it makes any sense lol

actually according to the online dictionary Either can be pronounced eeether way but the one they chose to name first and have in the sound thingy was the e sound :hee: Ei can also be pronounced like an A as in Eight

Thank you MTVN... Maybe what I should have said is that I'm taking that piece of information from the German pronunciation of words. I have a German maiden name that was often mispronounced and also I speak German. Anyhoo, I've used that example in the pronunciation of English words and it hasn't let me down yet.
