View Full Version : Can BB risk it?

I was generally gazing into space earlier and BB popped into my head, thoughts ran from a bikini related mudbath incident, to general feelings of the housemates. Anyway, cutting to the chase...

I just want to know can BB risk leaving Charley in the house after what happend earlier this year?

There saying this series is about love and sex, and in doing so trying to step away from the racism issues and the argueing that seemingly killed the last CBB. Then with a charactor like Charley, who evidently loves to have an arguement, causing conflict and tension in the house, do you think BB will try there best to remove or influence the public into getting her out as quick as possible?

Don't get me wrong there's nothing better then an arguement on BB, aslong as it isn't hugely blown out of proportion, but i just feel Charley isn't going to stay in there for long, should she keep on argueing!

And most of the other housemates are generally nice people, quite placid and calm, people you would expect to withhold BB aspirations for this series.

Thoughts people?

to me, the worst thing BB can do, is go out of their way NOT to cause tension

I'm sure it'll be fine. Aslong as the loudmouthed chav is the 'minority', it's unlikely there'll be a problem.

I was thinking this too..... Charley's behaviour has been tricky. But having said that BB knew she was going to cause problems I would imagine.

I guess if Ziggy doesnt put her up for nomination, which its highly likely he will, they will have to watch her closely just in case

I think BB should take the risk because otherwise we would have a boring house, if BB was to remove every argumentitive person from the house then no one would bother watching no more and ratings would drop but if Charley became agressive then BB should do something bout it.

I can see why BB would be cautious because of what happened in CBB but i think it's a new series and i think Charley and the rest of the housemates are aware of what happened during CBB, so i think BB should take the risk.

I'm sure it will be fine, I don't think she would ever get like that

And that draws me to ask, if Charley was to continue being argumentative if she survives being put up for eviction by Ziggy, would BB edit the drama caused by her in order to keep BB's neck out of the noose? Because Offcom critised BB's showing of the incidents back in CBB, by not protecting the housemates.

Ahh but would they use selective editing now??? The housemates will be aware of the position ofcom put BB in and their is a chance they can use this to their advantage... whether they would is another question.

I dont see charley changing, she was argumentative from the moment she entered the house and a leopard doesnt change its spots

Agreed. And anyway she isn't too offensive by what she says. She is just generally a mean girl.

She is a nasty piece of work who wants to manipulate every single person in that house by hook or by crook

Well none of the Housemates seem to have racial views, and I honestly doubt BB will panic over an argumentative Housemate being in the House.

In a way, I think that the BB house is a representation of the real world. They can't fill a house with 'nice' people who are eager to please, honest and selfless all the time because it'd be like watching Balamory, there's gotta be a bit of controversy because that's how things are. I think what happened in CBB shouldn't be tolerated in any situation although I also believe it was blown way out of proportion.

arguments ARE allowed this year.... ones like the other night are fine.... the ones they should be avoiding are the like of bb5 fight night and of course racially fuelled arguments

The likes of bitchy arguing over food is NOT going to get the show taken off the air

One very argumentative type is more representative than a gang of trouble makers and its clear that this time BB have so far been shown to have avoided those types more than usual.
There is however a big risk in that if the Happy house ever becomes considered an unhappy house, then I imagine it would be at this moment that Virgin would have a problem having invested in the happy house concept.

Charley is not gonna be racist so I think it will be ok.

There's a difference between the stuff that went on in CBB5 and the arguments that are involving Charley right now so I really don't see that they need worry about what's going on.

There's always going to be housemates that have strong views and like to express these views and it's all about the manner in which they do it, as long as this does not turn into bullying or overly abusive they don't need to act and if they did take away these big characters it is only going to make the series boring, who honestly wants to see a load of people happy all the time and getting along great?
