start time

i'm not sure if this topic has been made, but is the 10 o clock start time still staying?
And if it is, wouldnt you prefer, like me, the nine o clock time back?

Is it on at 10:00pm on Channel 4 now as well? I watch it on S4C (Welsh version of Channel 4) and Big Brother's always been shown at 10:00pm there.

Yeah it is late. Sometimes on S4C it's not on untill 1:00am. It depends on when the Welsh language programmes close down for the night.

I can imagine it being a problem for a few. For me I actually prefer it being on at 10pm - because 9pm was too early for me, but I'm probably one of the few who thinks that! I guess I see peoples' points - it's always been 9pm, so the fact that it was changed suddenly might affect some. I guess nowadays we get the chance to catch up pretty easily on the computer etc. though, so it's not as bad.

Oh yeah, another point is that most of BB takes place during the summer... as in during the summer holidays and stuff, so people stay up late anyway really. For some people, especially younger viewers, it might be difficult in the intial stages but not afterwards probably.

I prefer it at 10pm to be honest, there's normally nothing else on at the same time as it so I get the chance to watch all the other shows I like or go out beforehand and be back in time to see it.

I prefer it at 9pm. I just get annoyed when I miss it because I thought it started later, that used to happen quite alot last year with the eviction shows which used to start at 8:30pm and I always used to forget and tune in as normal at 9pm. :rolleyes:

I think that's how I remember it as well. It has always been more of an adult show so probably needed the later time slot.

Clashes with Heroes tonight on SciFi but I'll survive! Keep it on at ten!

I actually prefer it on at 10pm, as there is lots of other progams on at 9pm. It's also easier for C4, as they don't have much compition at 10.
