I'll give them a solid 8 so far. It's not wooden and uninspiring like everyone tried to make out when it was first announced, and they worked relatively well together. I wouldn't be upset if this stayed on for future either.

It's only been one episode.

Holly hasn't adapted yet, but I think she's good.

Hopefully as the series progresses they will work better together. Tonight was very much Dec doing all the work and Holly making faces/noises in an awkward response.

But only because Dec is his usual fun cheeky chappie self , the score is average due to me not taking to Holly . I just don't think it works :rolleyes: ,but as some people have said it's the first episode so we'll see .

i voted 9 as i thought they were great but idk if i’d go as far as to say i don’t want Ant to come back.

could be same as bake off though, because the tea is that bake off is better on C4! but nobody thought it would be. but it is. and this could end up being the same idea

Imo they're both great presenters separately but you can tell Holly's a bit out of her comfort zone

The show felt very 'Dec' centred with Holly kinda relying on him, and I don't know if they're doing that on purpose or not
I think they can't do the banter Ant and Dec had and they need to form a new dynamic which should hopefully come to light as the days go by. But I'm excited to see them work together!

Dec was always the funny one anyway - Ant just had the experience of being on and off screen Partners with Dec so could react in a more natural way. Holly will warm to it hopefully.

It was very jarring but she was okay, I think they may have got her to play the straight man role and let Dec do the jokes

As long as they have some good running gags as always (The Chase one looks promising) then I'll be content. We'll see

Yeah agree with this but being real no one will have that dynamic, Ant & Dec have been a duo since they were teenagers, nothing can replicate all that time together and it would be a mistake to try so i think they made a good choice with Holly

I think for her first job with someone so iconically associated with someone else, and knowing everyone will be judging her she did great, obviously it's not as great as Ant and Dec but it was never going to be, she was clearly very nervous but I think she'll warm into it a lot more too with reoccurring jokes too I think

Holly is doing amazingly well and is a good replacement for Ant.

The chemistry is growing and i think the partnership will be better as the episodes goes by, they have never worked together (i don't think) and Ant and Dec had 20 years together so of course the Dec and Holly partnership wouldn't be 100% straight away because it's new for both of them .

I've always loved Holly ( and fancied her ) so it's nice to see her doing so well .. she's such a big hearted , caring person and drop dead gorgeous

I don't get all the negativity surrounding Holly ... so what , she sniggers at some of Ant's jokes ... the way some of you go on about him you'd think he was the best comedian around so it's maybe understandable for her to have a an occasional giggle .. they are old friends as well of course .

I think she's doing amazingly well ..

Can't be easy taking the place of Ernie Wise after all ..

Except Holly is far from serious on morning TV, and spends a lot of that laughing and making faces.
