In what ways do you interact with your Alexa? Dot/Echo (If you have one that is)
Do you use it just for music or with some smart home stuff?

We have one in each room and use it for radio and Spotify. The TL does recipes and traffic info. Don't use the weather as it's sh1t American data however

I found her more or less useless, she has now been relegated to the kitchen as a cooking timer and measures / weights convertor which is actually quite handy.
"ALEXA! What is 1/2 cup in grams?"
"Here is a list of grammy-winning songs on Spotify"
"NO! Alexa, Stop...
Alexa, set a reminder for 30 seconds."
"What would you like me to remind you about?"
"Buttface"
*30 seconds later*
"Here is your reminder: Buttface."
"HEHEHEHE"

I adore my Alexa. She wakes me up, reminds me about stuff, tells me jokes and interesting facts, plays my playlists, plays the radio, when my German friends were visiting recently, she translated stuff when none of us could think of the English/German word, I get recipes, news... all sorts of stuff. I'd really miss it.
I thought there would be a lot more use of it with members on here
I'm pretty much the same as you Livia, use mine a lot every day, to do lists, shopping lists, news and weather updates, music, sleep and relaxation sounds to name a few.
It's been a real big help in our house lately too with me being unwell, I can drop in to the other dots in the house, can add to my shopping lists throughout the day then hubby can check the list on the way home from work and pick up what's needed etc

Oh yeah, the sleep sounds are great. White noise and distant thunderstorm are my faves.

Alex thinks her voice is really disturbing and reckons ours will slit out throats one night while we're sleeping. Of course, he's quite mad.
