So you have to ask, why is she there? The programme isn't suitable for her. They are paying her for **** all and she isn't happy and says she wants to leave anyway.

The producers have made some bizarre decisions this year. Even the "filler" housemates they have put in have had the personality of cardboard. What had the potential to be a great series has turned into a damp squib.

What disappointed me was that Anne didn't even try to do the trial, she just gave up.

I believe it is better to try and give it 100% and not win
than not try at all.


In the drinking challenge even when Nick Knowles came up to do the challenge, other celebs from the other teams came up and did the challenge knowing that the odds were against them. But the main thing is that even with the odds stacked against them, they tried. They didn't give up.


I remember watching Wimbledon tennis and Heather Watson was playing against Serena Williams. Did Heather Watson just give up knowing that the odds were against her ? No, she gave 100% and almost beat Serena. So you never know, with luck on your side a undefeatable task could be conquered. So Anne had the wrong attitude and should have tried rather than have a defeatist attitude and gave up straight away.

BB is a completely different concept..so you cannot compare the two. BB is designed for tasks etc to antagonise and cause drama amongst them which is why Lewis was fab...

If it wasn't expected for trials to be undertaken, trials wouldn't be included in the first place then.

I don't understand why people are getting so upset about it tbh, just don't vote for her. Where the anger comes from I don't get at all, she's not been a hateable figure by any stretch. Strange.

I dont think anyone is upset, just discussing what we see each night, I dont hate her, I just think as JB quite eloquently pointed out last night she is a very capable woman being treated like a second class citizen, and her reluctance to do things is more about her lack of self esteem as people have probably told her all her life she is incapable, I would have loved to see her blossom in there intead she has shrunk into herself, even Rita last night didnt think she could do the fire...kudos to JB for his reaction

How pathetic was she with the wafting a hat over the flames ? All the stupid breathlessness puffing and panting and had to be held while she kicked a log further into the fire ,so much so that Rita suggested she got extra help !!

And why cant she do this trial all she has to do is lay down ? Are you producers trying to aid her dignity because she would need help getting up because of her bulk ? I read last night her medical alone cost £30,000 surely for that sort of money they could have told her it was a waste of time her going in there

Absolutely Cherie...John Barrowman actually saying what we have been saying all along...that she is more than able to do things but they all mollycoddle her..and tbf he has been equally guilty with this. The thing is she HAD to the fire last night because they all have their duties and whoever her 'fire assistant' was was obviously out of camp. They had to wake her up to attend the fire she is in charge of...she stomped the fire and threw a log on..a few fans and she was all done in. She said shes sat and watched everyone else stomp the fire when she clearly is more than capable of the simple things but shes never bothered to help. Why cant she carry a log...take a rucksack and putv a couple in there..she carried her rucksack into camp.
Its all very well people coming on here saying why are we getting upset about it..just don't vote her!!...after that last night she has proved what we have all been saying all along...shes more than capable..just downright LAZY!!

Agree the patronising is terrible if it shows anything it shows that people with disabilities are not treated as equal, the expectation is that they can't do things and when they do, its ooooooh look at you.......

The expectations of the show are survival and living and working together in the process to ensure the wellbeing of each other.
While also competing against each other.

If it wasn't expected for trials to be undertaken, trials wouldn't be included in the first place then.

It's the ruling out of most on medical grounds
The refusal to do trials and the giving up on what she does way too quickly.

Deviously indicating possibly, she did try!!!

If all we were expected to watch was I'm A Celebrity..... filled with Anne's.
Then I'd just about choose to watch anything but it.

The others are doing over and above the expectations.
In truth Anne is doing nothing.
She ought to feel some shame as to her non activity and near non participation in the show, other than her just being there.
Lying around like a spare part.

I think it is a shame really...she clearly could have made more effort...no one would expect great things from her..but on a couple of tasks she didn't even try.
Its the camp situation and team playing that has disappointed me. There are many things she could have done around camp that she has said herself she has let people do...the cooking (even chopping the veg would have helped)..the washing up she admitted she doesn't do..and last night the campfire which we all saw she was more than capable of doing she has just let the others do it.
If she had made more of an effort I think she could have won this...because she is a nice lady..but she hasn't done herself any favours..

Anne's kinda boring and overrated, tbh. I don't agree that she's intentionally lazy and sly, but she hasn't lived up to expectations. It's a shame because I just don't think she's well-suited for I'm a Celeb and was probably better off staying home. She doesn't seem to be enjoying it, and if she can't/doesn't compete in trials then it's unfair that production let her on the show. On the contrary, I do admire that her appearance has raised awareness of autism and think she's a perfectly kind and normal human being.
