However as a Wildcard mentor my job is to build a team of 10 acts of my own from acts that received no turns. So once it gets into the battle rounds we all have 10 acts each. The important rule for these battles are since these are youtube acts i want to see their cover of the chosen song so it has to be a song they have covered which obviously means it has to be a song that the act they are up against has also covered you will need to post both covers on here for the battles. If you can't find a song they have both done I will accept it being the same artist

For example:

One of your acts has covered perfect by ed sheeran but the other act hasn't but has covered photograph by Ed Sheeran that will be acceptable as a battle

Walk off the earth: not only do you sound great but your unique you put your own spin on songs and are entertaining to watch and your more than an band your a team and it's really great however are you going to appeal to everyone and sell records

Alex Aiono: you are ready to smash the charts you look great you have a great voice but the way you make the music yourself with your equipment shows a true artist however I'm not sure whether you might be better in a group

The Sam willows: I have worked with a group like you in my previous show before this and it was a lot of fun so I could definitely coach you and your hardworking and all great singers however you seem to be stronger at slower songs are you versatile enough

Julia Westlin: your such a unique artist I love the acapella stuff you do you seem to really love music however it's not versatile it's all very much the same at the moment but I love it. It's a risk because I'm not sure other people will see you how I see you but I know I could coach you

There will be no themes this year you just simply choose your favourite covers by your chosen artists week on week

There will be a slight twist this year however,

There will be 2 live shows each week for the first few weeks until we start narrowing down our acts a bit more

So on Monday the first 10 acts will all sing
On Friday the next 10 acts will sing. The act that received the lowest score on both live shows will be sent home. (So that is one act per live show leaving) but the act that received the next lowest score will sing off against the act that received the next to lowest score from the other live show. In that sing off one act will be sent home by the coaches

So for the next few weeks 3 acts will be leaving the competition each week I hope that makes sense

Spencer Sutherland: I'm unsure on this one. Despite being a Sia fan I am not a fan of this song and know you can perform better than this it was good but not amazing 6/10

Andie Case: I'll be honest I was surprised you made the live shows over stronger artists I don't feel your ready yet but that was a good performance so I eat my words I enjoyed it and look forward to seeing your journey ahead 8/10

Julia Westlin: love the effort gone into this with the costume etc. Your not going to be everyone's type of artist however I honestly love what you do with music and think your one to watch in the show I'm honoured to work with you 10/10

Macy Kate: I really need you to push yourself out of the comfort zone I need you to be your own artist I know the journey I need to take you on and I'm excited about it but this showed off your strengths and was brilliant 10/10

Roadtrip: love the fact that nicky is your coach as he is a fan of you too so will show your very best I enjoyed this and yes you could very well be the next big Boyband 9/10

Amanda cole: amanda I have been a massive fan of you for a while I would have loved you on my team but I'm happy you made the live shows. You took on a big song and somehow made it even bigger 10/10

Travis Garland: I know you can be a very strong performer however your vocals need to match I have seen better from you and you can give us better this for me was lacklustre and a bit boring in my opinion 4/10

Jules Aurora: I'm so happy you made the live shows and this seemed to be out of your comfort zone but you smashed it so well done you may be in this show for a long time 9/10

Samantha Harvey: it was beautifully sung and a nice song but would you release it I doubt it your a youthful artist and this is an old fashioned song so not a good choice but I see potential 6/10

Madilyn Bailey: ah no I hated this I'm sorry to say. I hate the song and your such a talented girl it did nothing for you I'm gutted because your really great and deserve to be here I honestly love you as an artist and enjoy your voice but the song was a big no no 4/10

RoadTrip: amazing vocals, also must say this was improvised choreography :clap2: i love you guys, you are such a Delight to work with, i never have liked boybands before but yep you got me into boybands more :love: :love: 10/10

Amanda: i disagree with Owoaje, although the song choice might be generic, what you made of it was special and gave it plenty of lovely soul gladys knight/aretha vibes :love: 10/10

Travis: one side i agree with jake, this performance felt lacklustre, i add you looked bored in this performance, you got a good voice, you got loads of potential but here it didn't come through sadly 6/10

Jules: you might have potential for the complete package, the sexbomb of this years show but vocally some bits sounded really dated and one high note i found bit screechy like nails on a chalkboard sorry other judges might love you but i'm not your biggest fan 3/10

Samantha: don't get that 2 from owoaje at all, this was vocally a good performance, i love that song btw my score would be 8/10

Madilyn: maybe not the most perfect song choice, i like your version of it with the piano and you got a beautiful voice 7/10

Firstly you have a great voice but I'm looking for an artist no just a singer and that didn't show me anything new a lot of youtube female singers could have done the exact same performance I want to see what separates Emma Heesters apart from any other singer. It sounded good though 7/10

Like nicky I'm also not a fan of Drake. But I actually loved your performance in fact it was one of my favourites of the night. This is what I meant by wanting an artist not just a singer you set yourself apart from everyone else 10/10

I felt a little underwhelmed to be honest I was hoping for something a little more country as I love you country voice but you went out of your comfort zone so well done. It wasn't the perfect song for you but your very talented 6/10

Andie: vocally you are stunning, but this wasn't wow 6/10

RoadTrip: FAB performance :worship: i disagree with jake here i don't want harmonies all the time, that is old fashioned Boyband i want to create a new sort of Boyband/group, this was great 10/10

Amanda: how on earth does this sound dated :conf: this was just a magical, haunting, emotional stunner of a performance :clap2: 10/10

Julia: you know what it is with this song, it can either go amazing or flat and dull, you did it in between, but i loved it for the amount of emotion you put in this 9/10

Really liked the song it's great to see you do your own thing it allows us to see the artists you want to be. Yeah it was really good. What I want to see on in future is maybe you performing on a dance track. Your voices to a good beat would really work. For me that was a 9/10

Megan Nicole: I hate this song. But your version wasn't too bad. I think you have what it takes to be the next superstar but at the same time I think you would be better in a Girlband 8/10

Haley Klinkhammer: Yeah not keen on this song either but I love your voice. It needs experience and time to improve but I see potential there. I'd love to see Ed Sheeran work with you one day 7/10

Jasmine Thompson: hope the other coaches got to see a different side to you there it was fun and also a great song 10/10

Which means we have to lose 4 acts this week. How this is happening is whoever lands the bottom of the leaderboard on Monday and on Friday will both leave as usual. But then the two acts that received the next lowest scores on the Monday and on the Friday will have to have a sing off

So that will be 4 acts in the sing off and as coaches we have to decide which 2 acts we want to send home

Julia: one of my all time favourite songs. But also I chose this just to celebrate my favourite program being back on. As for your performance I loved that you did your own interpretation of it you made it your own and I loved the arrangement. It was stunning 10/10

Jasmine: after a bit of a different performance on Friday this time I wanted to take you back to your Roots. I think you have a raw beautiful voice that would sound perfect on the radio. This was lovely 10/10

Spencer: I emotionally connect with this song for personal reasons so I cry everytime I hear it. This was your best performance yet your vocals were good however I didn't feel that emotional connection from you I felt maybe you didn't know the song all that well and would it be a song you would release. Doubtful. But you sounded good 8/10

Leroy: hmmm see this sounded nice but for me it was a slight backtrack from your great performance last week. For me I see you as a featured artist like working with established artists and DJ's rather than be your own artist selling albums at this point 6/10

Alyssa: I loved your performance last week but I got bored this week. I like your voice I love the fact you play guitar but it fell flat for me 6/10

Savannah: I don't know why this has been given such high praise. You have been the one to beat so far but this was a mess it was pitchy the song seemed out of your range 3/10

Haley: a perfect song given you are Lewis last act you and Lewis will certainly be fighting for your place in that final 10! It was really good actually it's my favourite performance of yours so far 10/10
