I hate it when they do this, it's like Stratford is 2/3.

Yup. Criminals don't just stop at the border of "nice areas", turn around and walk off. Sadly.

Meh, I lived in Tottenham for months which is ~the worst part of London basically and I had no issues.
Or you can live in one of the 'best' areas (Chelsea/Fulham or whatever) and there can still be crime
It's pointless worrying about it, anything can happen anywhere at any time

Isnt it good? You can travel to zone 4 as if you are in zone 3 or zone 1 as if you are in zone 2. Or at least that’s how I interepreted it.

Used to live in Greenhill Zone, but then had to move from zone to zone all because of that crazy blue hedgehog wrecking everything. And also that crazy clownlike fat guy that he's chasing.

Not necessarily - Fares do still differ from station to station in that weird zone 2/3 border etc.

Zone 2/3 depends on the station

Gonna bump this thread (and maybe make my own) because I'm I need to quickly relocate to London and I'm wondering what areas are the easiest and (fairly, since I know it's London) cheapest to stay in???
Any help at all will be valued, thx

It was a longtime ago when i lived there now but Bow was probably easier to travel in and out of, Tooting was my favourite though because I really liked the flat I lived in and the people who i lived with, the area had nice bars and decent shops as far as i can remember
I lived in Wood Green for a while
I lived there for the least amount of time because i hated the house I lived in and the live in landlord, he was a total pig of a man so that put a bit of a downer on my time there

East then maybe Stratford, Mile End, Leyton...depends how close you want to be...closer you are more expensive rentals..you can walk to Farringdon from Liverpool Street....further out cheaper rent but expensive to travel :oh: Elizabeth line coming in 2019 will cut travel time ...Good luck ....

I recomend south of the river, would never live north i dont think.
Its so much cheaper and you can be super close to the city.
Try elephant and castle, really easy to get to farringdon from there on rail. about a 30+ min walk also.
