For shows like TGD you just go on Applause Store and request. These are free all the time.

For Ryal Variety you have to register your interest with the Royal Variety Charity, then they'll officially invite you if selected. This one you pay for (and too much bloody money - the one time I was front row it was like £400 for me seat but I usually chill at the back for like £90)
