Coleen Nolan was targeted by vile trolls after her surprise appearance on Dancing On Ice tonight.

The Loose Women star, 53, was bombarded with nasty messages on Twitter after she was spotted in the audience during pal Saira Khan's routine.

She was seen cheering on her mate from the sidelines and it sent Twitter into meltdown.

Poor Coleen was bombarded hateful abuse, with one troll writing: "I thought we'd agreed that Coleen Nolan wasn't allowed on television anymore. DancingOnIce."

Another added: "OMG did I just see that revolting Coleen Nolan. Can't stand the woman DancingonIce."

A third wrote: "Why give that horrendous Coleen Nolan airtime nasty nasty woman dancingonice."

Many even threatened to boycott the show over Coleen's brief appearance.

Another troll tweeted: " Honestly after seeing that god awful Coleen Nolan on my screen I’ve had to switch over to Countryfile to calm myself #DancingonIce #CountryfileOnIce ."

The abuse came hours after it was revealed Coleen was forced to step away from Loose Women because of trolls.

She was sent terrifying death threats over her jaw-dropping row with Kim Woodbur n

One even told her to "die of cancer" like her sister Bernie Nolan, who passed away in 2013.

Coleen told the Mirror's Notebook magazine it prompted her to take a break from Loose Women.

She said: "When the death threats happened it was a catalyst and it all hit me. I needed to get a grip on my life...

"You have to be made of steel to not be affected by hurtful comments. But when people were saying things like, ‘I hope you die of cancer like your sister’, it was time to stop."

Yeah, I wasn't an avid viewer but if I had an hour free from work and I went home I would watch but since I heard she was back I have zero interest.

It's not just the Kim thing either, her behaviour after was repulsive too. Blaming Kim fans for her cancelling her tour...piss off. Nobody was buying tickets and she saw an opportunity to gloss over the flop rather than admit her popularity wasn't what she thought.
