Not here for anymore guest characters. Apparently, Skarlet makes a return too after her debut in MK9

I've had enough of guest characters, especially considering that there were characters you fought in Story Mode that weren't DLC in favour of the likes of Leatherface.... Gross.

Skarlet looks amazing, I liked her in MK9 but everything about her was kinda basic but now she looks really unique and interesting.

Exactly! They updated all their moves and even gave those revenant characters some combos (including Baraka), but never added them as a playable character. Rain was my most anticipated character for Kombat Pack 2, but then out comes Leatherface. I was so done at that point, I just switched off

I’m glad they moved away from the whole Ninja thing and gave her own style, kinda reminds me of Mira from Killer instinct. Dezzy, the fatalities! I’m so hyped :dazzler:

Kinda lost interest with the franchise a while ago. Same stuff every game, now. It's a fun nostalgia trip and everything but not something I'm keen to keep up with.

I enjoyed the storyline in 10 and will play 11 but I wouldn't exactly say super excited... I mean... it's a NetherRealm Studios fighter. Gameplay wise they're all pretty much identical.

Bit like Tekken, they're fun at first but I would never get a fighter on release - they don't keep me entertained enough to warrent £50

If they add a tag team Kombat mode then that would be good?

I agree, especially as it'll be £15 second hand in less than a year.

A lot of these 2d fighting games are very hard to get used. Some characters are more difficult to play than others. Cassie was probably the easiest in MKX

Icr exactly what it was but it was a move that was like... necessary to do well in the game and you had to do a button press with extremely precise timing and i just couldn’t do it after countless attempts :(

Honestly cannot wait for this game to come out on Tuesday, Switch version looks great, it does sacrifice some of the graphics to maintain 60 FPS but it's pretty tolerable because the sacrifice is minimal.

Someone actually datamined the Switch version and posted the DLC line for the first Kombat Pass, the guest lineup is stacked.

-Ash Williams from the Evil Dead (given that Rousey is Blade and the Shang Tsung thing, it should be a crime if Bruce isn't voicing him)

I saw a trailer for this and got a bit hyped; I forgot that I actually really enjoyed MKX single player campaign. I suck quite badly at multiplayer.

Most of the reviews have been really good so far, they say that the progression system in the single player modes to unlock things is a bit **** though but I assume if it's that much of a big deal, they'll change things around.
