So that's a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Golden Globe, a Satellite Award, Critics' Choice Award - ALL for best actress.
would love to see her get an Oscar next (Something that's LONG overdue)

Yes if she doesn't get it she will be leading the most nominated but never won category, never heard of the Wife though....is it out here yet?

Hi Cherie. Yes, it was released on DVD/Blu ray today, but it's been available to DL for a while. I've watched it to see what the fuss was about and her performance is fantastic. Totally deserving of all the praise.

No way. She was much better in F.A, tbh.
She should have also won an Oscar for "Dangerous Liaisons". She was brilliant in that, but then again Jodie Foster really was great in "The Accused", so...

I agree. Her losing to Jodie wasn't bad because Jodie was amazing in the accused, but for her to lose against Cher? That was a ****ing joke!

Yes, Cher's a good actress, but for her to get best actress over Glenn was mind boggling. I didn't like that movie at all.

She gave a good performance, but was it Oscar worthy? I think not. Glenn gave a disturbing, terrifyingly unforgettable performance. She was robbed

I like both but i found Cher’s performance slightly better.

Fair enough. It's been a long time since I watched Moonstruck so a rewatch may change my mind about her performance (doubt it tho) :hehe:
