Well girls, looks like we have finally made it. The Star tells of how 150,000 people have applied for BB3, and talks a little about past events. They use this as a golden opportunity to show a photo of us babes with Paul taken in the back of the Will bus. It has the caption

BABE MAGNET: Paul Clarke was a hit with somen after Big Bruv 2.

It is a lovely shot of us all I think you'll agree, but sadly it's only in the paper version, not online. Some people might claim it's one of those photos from when he was a judge at the modelling competition in Reading that landed him in trouble for being near girls, but we know better! The Star was never really nasty about Paul, but it is interesting that they've managed to talk about him in relation to 'babes' and Helen without the jibes we've come to expect about them, or BB people in general. I'd go so far as to say I think the paper wants to show it is friendly to BB and stars.

There are also photos of Craig (standard one) and Nick (about to cry in diary room) from BB1, one of Brian (standard) and one of Helen and Paul looking like they are going to snog.

There's a bit of chat about whether or not they'll be any sex this time round, and the producers are pretending that they aren't really interested in that sort of thing. It seems they aren't going to put in porn stars of celebrities just to up the sexiness. :conf:

In spite of the nice tone, The Star manages to demonstrate its usual high level of journalism by telling its readers Brian is now a presenter on CDUK. :dazzler:

There is an abridged version of the article online (link) (http://www.megastar.co.uk/news/20020307n_brother.html) that for some reason finishes off with a bit of politics! The online version also has a picture of Brian and Paul on their way into the house.

However, I would recommend that all PC fans, especially those from the virtual trip check out the paper version. ROB - that's quite a grip you have on his thigh! :spin2:

Just a-staking my claim honey bunch.

That boy is well and truly taken. I hope he's still smiling, he should be if he's with me! Do I still take a good photo?

Things are livening up now a little on the BB front. Feefs, the idea you had re: Helen covering BB3 on GMTV is great. Emails all round I think! Let's get to it because they must be planning out this stuff now.

As an opener they could have P&H on together talking about the impact it has had on their lives, how she's had to learn to deal with him being a sex object etc.

Now, I'm off down the newsagents disguised as Sticks to buy a copy of the Star. Feefs, if Paul Clarke is being gripped by some uggo, you're in trouble girl!:nono:

ROB - you are looking gorgeous, and it's not just me that thinks it. The Star clearly thinks you, me and the rest of us are babes. I mean the logic is flawless.
1. He is a babe magnet
2. We are attracted to him

= We must be babes! Only mingers don't fancy him.

Fantastic, Feefs - thanks for letting us know.

Oh well, we didn't quite make it into 'Heat', so I suppose the Daily Star will do!

I hope I'd had a chance to sort my hair (my hair!!) and unsteam my specs before this picture was taken.

Ah, happy memories indeed for all us TiBB Babes. :colour: :spin2: :colour:

Absolutely Feefs!

Now, I donned a heavy disguise and went out to purchase this periodical, anxious to see if Kaz and I were looking our best for the cameras.

Imagine my disappointment, dear reader, to find that I did not feature in the photograph at all!

Kaz, I have to say, you do look foxy, and you obvious appreciate the firm grasp he has around your waist. Chilledbootz has practically draped herself across his left shoulder, and Feefs, you minx, we all know why you crouched in that position, holding his right thigh!

You have obviously made a common mistake, and mistaken the stunner holding his left leg for me, when in fact it is Peachy!

She and I are alike, it's true, and I had to look twice, but the nose piercing and the breast enhancement gave it away!

For those of you who weren't there, and who haven't seen this picture, let me explain.

Mr Clarke is standing, looking shaken and stylishly dishevelled, supported solely by the strong grasp and sterling efforts of the 'virtual' girlies.

Kaz and chilledbootz are holding him up, and Feefs and Peachy are grasping his thighs and attempting to give him a firemans lift.

What you cannot see is that they are outside the bedroom door. The girls have helped him from the bedroom where he has just spent the best two hours of his life with ROB.

Never has he looked more wide-eyed with wonderment. He knows that no matter what the future may hold for him, he will never be closer to Nirvana than he was in that room..................................

When I first read the couple of posts, I must win the award for the most gullable person on this board. Can u believe I actually went up to the shop, (not especially, i was getting my mum a paper) to look at this paper that 'apparently' had u guyz in it. Imagine my embarassment when it was a bunch of models!!!
I am SO thick , u had me going, I must have missed something whilst I was away!:dance::elephant:

Wildchild - oh ye of little faith! How could you possibly doubt the word of such honourable souls as Feefs, Kaz and ROB. A plague on both your houses!! http://thisisbigbrother.com/forum/images/smilies/firedevil.gif

PS The reason you can't see me in the photo is because I was taking it! http://thisisbigbrother.com/forum/images/smilies/laugh1.gif

I think we need to acknowledge the selfless part that Miriam played, taking Helen out with her to:

locate all the nearest cosmetic shops, walk the collie
go to the chippy

I know it was a bad thing we did. I shouldn't have taken advantage of him really. He was reluctant at first, but just couldn't help himself in the end.

I only hope that he doesn't blame himself too much. He's only human.

Helen has him for the rest of her life, but I can close my eyes, and I will always have Hadley Wood.........................sweet dreams ROB

Apparently!!! Wildchild, ROB is absolutely correct - that was us, recorded for posterity during our virtual TiBB outing to help Helen & Paul flit into their new little house.

Peachy managed to get us the use of Will's Pop Idol battlebus, and sweet-talked Will and Gareth into coming along too. Sticks tried his best to dissuade us from going, but he was on a hiding to nothing!

You poor little love - imagine missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime! http://www.plauder-smilies.com/pftroest.gif Never mind though, you can read all about it in the 'Josh Meets Helen' thread under 'BB2 contestants.

It was quite a day wasn't it? Even for us babe, model-types.

It is a shame that The Star only had the photo and didn't have the full story.

Susie - I hope they paid you well for the photo. It is fantastic and I may use the power of email to thank them. You never know, it might encourage repeats in the future, and aid their realisation that there are a few of us who enjoy such things.

As far as I'm aware, the address is editor@megastar.co.uk It is supposed to be for sending in scandalous stories. Does anyone want to tell them what really happened that day?

Feefs, what happened in that room will be forever kept between Paul and I.

He has to get on with his life now, and it will be difficult for him, but he is young, and time is a great healer!

Well spotted ROB, of course it was me with the two-handed grip which Paul likes so much. Now, I don't mind you telling everyone what a stunner I am and that I have an attractive nose-piercing but breast enhancement, how dare you, those beauties are real, I'll have you know. I know you wish The Star had published you with Mr.C but, quite rightly, I was the chosen one, sorry ROB, you slipped up there and it's no use you getting peeved and suggesting that Jordan and I are soulmates in retaliation, it's just not true. The facts are that Mr Clarke could not cope with you any longer and needed some mothering and TLC after you'd finished with him, so came to me. Sorry old fruit but the truth will out!

OK, OK Peachy, if you insist, those babies are all you!

Now, on to PC needing mothering and TLC when I'd finished with him.

It's probably true, he was a little fragile, and could not have made it down the corridor unaided. I think you should have left him resting beside me a little longer, and he did beg me for another bed-bath, but I knew it would have been a sponging too far.

I didn't want to be selfish, so I let you take him away. I only hope you were gentle with him.

Speaking of the your little excursion, does anyone know what has happened to Bert. He was kind enough to step in for me when I was stuck in the north due to unexpected severe adverse weather conditions :bawling:

It was Bert who ended up dealing with the communications reps for the mobile phone jammers so the tabloid rat pack was spiked.

We are a bit worried about Bert. He has not been the same since his life long friend Ernie was pursuaded by some new associates to kick Bert out of the house they were sharing in the US. (Somebody in the press said they were gay, and Bert says that was where the trouble began) According to Bert his friend Ernie seems to have got mixed up with a religious group. He does not know who they are, but told us they were clean shaven and rode around on bikes a lot.

Also Bert had been keeping a low profile since some so and so put his photo on a poster of an Osama bin liner, which was one of the reasons why he was over here.

I understand he was quite helpful with you lot on the trip, but it slipped his mind to let you know he was not me. :nono:

Has anyone seen Bert ?

If you still have the Pop Idol Bus can you check it. He has disappeared from the YMCA hostel he has been staying in. Some of the guys there said he was a bit dispondent
