I'm watching last night's show now and this argument about hair straighteners is pathetic on both Chanelle's and Emily's part!!!

I know!!! It was so pointless and pathetic. And for Chanelle to run to the diary room and start crying was even more pathetic. Just because her hair was too 'short' or what ever excuse she gave. Pointless.

"I can't help it if I've got a natural curl in my hair!" Oh my god...

It'll get even worse on tonight's highlights show; Ziggy gets involved and starts calling Emily an actress and a bitch and sticks up for Channelle.
I do think Emily was in the wrong last night though, it gets really intense in there so you can hardly blame Channelle for picking up on such a small thing.

Yeah, maybe you're right, it's hard to say really having never been in that situation lol.

Id be the same if someone tried to take away my right to use straightners. I mean being in there in sure its really hard and if i was in there and I was bored the only thing I would be able to do to chill out is do my hair, make-up ect ect.

I don't think it was pathetic at all. If someone tries to take away something that means something to you, wether its straightners or something else. Your going to be mad.

Plus in there they have limited use of them, so its even worse when someone starts bitching about 'Ohh you shouldn't give her priority blaaa' It would make me angry to!

Yeah, but that's the one thing they always say when coming out during the interview when asked about an argument; ''it's so intense in there, and things just get blown out of proportion''!

to be honest Emily was right IMO. People shouldnt be given priorites otherwis they begin to expect them

Do you people not want good TV??

Stop moaning about the arguements- they are such good entertainment.
Who cares who was right or wrong.

(But Chanelle was in the right:laugh:)

Yeah, it does seem petty - but at the end of the day these people are in a BB house where an argument could break out over literally anything and everything. They're in such a confined space, having to share room with people they may not normally get along with - not to mention the emotions they're feeling (e.g. missing home) so it may seem petty to us, but to them it's probably not. That's what makes the show more interesting I guess.

it was a quality aregument. I can't wait for tonights episode to see it rumble on. Chanell was in the right but her reaction was way over the top.

Lol for goodness' sake, maybe no-one will agree with this, but bitching and arguments aren't the only reasons that I watch TV and in my opinion, that was less an argument, more a petty squabble between silly little girls (which is how they were behaving). I understand fully that in that environment, straighteners are probably far more important than they are in everyday life but seriously, it's nothing to cry about...

Now I'm no expert on the intricacies of women's hair straightening needs (and it's been many years since I had my own long hair and I never used straightners!! In fact the messier the better) but weren't they about to go to bed. Wouldn't their hair just get messed as they slept on it during the night. Truly a petty thing to argue about but the beauty of BB is that the smallest things can cause a massive row!!

If that arguement hadnt happened, last nights show wouldnt have been as entertaining.

But thats the point. The house is like a prison and just like in prison petty victories mean everything.

Anyway, I'm not going to be a hypocrite and get involved in an even pettier argument, I thought it was ridiculous, that's just my opinion, I don't care if no-one agrees.

Of course it was ridiculous but it will be the first of many silly arguments.

The house meetings are one of my favourite bits this year. Every attempt at one, there's always tears. Poor Lesley, she does try bless her.

It was very petty but highly amusing, I thought these girls would be fairly dull but some of them are so damn bitchy but it's great to watch, probably hell to live with though.

The silly thing is we see Chanelle's hair when she first gets out of bed so it's not going to make much difference.

Pettiest argument = any argument involving Nikki - she's just pointless.

ThisIsMarie

Nikki wasn't pointless. She is classic BB now!
This is a BB8 topic anyway.

I love the pettie arguements!!!
They are so funny! :laugh2:
Plus no massive pressure or consequences , just simple funny.

It seemed to me emily was doing big huge curls in a way she normally wouldnt wear her hair anyway. Chanelle only needed to use it for a quick job. I think Emily was wrong. And Chanelle was mostly pissed about the bitchy way Emily was talking about her.

A bit petty but I feel Chanelle had the right to get a bit pissed.
