Hull : Missing student Libby Squire's distraught parents make plea

Libby Squire, 21, has not been seen by friends since getting into a taxi outside the Welly nightclub in central Hull at 11pm on Thursday.
Police are "extremely concerned" for the University of Hull student's welfare as her family said her disappearance is "very out of character".]

She got a taxi home but never went inside, but her mobile was found in the house, then a motorist stopped to see if she was okay as she was sat on a bench later in the night, I think it might be suicide rather than abduction sadly

On February 6 Pawel Relowicz, 24, was arrested by Humberside Police on suspicion of abducting the 21-year-old Miss Squire as officers continued to scour the city for any trace of her.

She was last seen alive in the early hours of February 1.

The dad-of-two's home in Hull was also searched by forensic officers.

After being granted a further 96 hours with which to question him, he was charged with 12 offences not related to the then-missing 21-year-old.

The trial is on now, poor Libby, she was refused entry into a nightclub and members of the public tried to help as she had lost her house keys and was hysterical, but they were unable to calm her so left her on the street

Also the friends who put her in a taxi, the taxi driver, the people who encountered her on the street, it has flashbacks of Jamie Bulger, opportunities missed to save her, it won't be easy for any of them going forward

...this is when life imprisonment should mean life imprisonment...I read it as a 27yr minimum to serve but that would still mean his release would be in his early 50’s ...and in view of his history as well...it doesn’t feel a correct justice...
