Every year I wish I could get into the BAFTA's, I just get really bored and it lacks atmosphere to me </3 A shame because some real talent gets recognised and congrats to the winners so far!
I feel like I've never heard of any of the films either :skull:

Really? I love it and I can't get enough of it. I watch it every year. It's probably my 2nd favourite film award show after the Oscars

Yeah I always have to do something else whilst watching although tbf I don't really like the oscars too much either although I'd probably rank that higher.
From the section I just watched, costume design I think it was, it just appeared to lack any atmosphere with the graphics, and the piano music and muted audience, but then that's probably because I prefer the more fast paced and lively productions rather than the toned down, classy ones.

It can be a little lacklustre at times compared to other award shows. I think because I've been watching it for too long now I'm quite used to it which is why I don't really get bored. It's only 2 hours as well and it flies by quickly sometimes
