Was the hiring recent? the show is a mess but i doubt they would hire new crew and then cancel the show, they are not that ****ed up.

I was a massive fan of the show but I'm not sad if it's true it's been axed it hasn't performed well the last few years. If it could get back to the 2008 to 2011 days if it's rested a couple of years then I'm happy

Also not to annoy everyone again with this comment that I'm about to make, but it's very important to have most of your line-up be talented on a Talent Show.

Also the song choices needed a massive overhaul as we'd been hearing the same versions of the same songs for years now, that's why I was so opposed to the support that Dalton got in the last series after he got the ridiculously overdone I Have Nothing and he did the exact same version that every other act has done with the song. I definitely in particular was shocked that DS got behind him considering they always moan about Whitney nunbers being done on the show.

Also I do think the show betrayed everyone's trust when they would save clearly weaker singers over more talented singers in the bottom two and it all started with Jedward against Lucie back in 2009, I was a Jedward fan so I'm not meaning to be nasty about them, but they were clearly weaker vocalists than Lucie by quite some distance yet Simon took it to deadlock despite praising Lucie over the past couple of weeks and attacking Jedward every week, and in that same year the judges saved Lloyd over Jamie who again was clearly less talented and polled lower in the voting than Jamie most weeks. And then the following year Katie being saved over Aiden and TreyC who again were much better vocalists made a lot of the public angry as the judges are supposed to save the talented acts when they hit the bottom two not eliminate them, especially when against TreyC she refused to even do the sing-off it made a mockery of the whole process. And then the sing-off process has just got worse over the years where the more talented vocalist leaves nearly all of the time now, Carolynne against Rylan, Kye against Rylan, Jade against Union J, Paul against Jay, Samantha against Ryan, and then everybody that Acacia & Aaliyah beat in their bottom two's, it's just seen the public lose faith with the show and tuned out as contrary to popular belief the public want to watch a singing contest.

but competitive x factor, most of recent winners weren't successes so that's evidence it isn't doing well anymore :laugh:
