Amy dont be too sure .. the show hasnt affected her odds that much, and she quite clearly didnt say she HAD a gameplan, they were discussing the possibility of her having one.

"Does Chanelle have a game plan, and is that why she's sleeping with Ziggy?" That's talking about her having a game plan without saying "She has a game plan". Admittedly, I think she sees Chanelle as having a game plan, but I think she's right, and shouldn't have denied it later.

Emily was also having a chat in the diary room about it... if you love her, you just look past every little thing and try to make it good. There's probably no point in me even trying. But I'll say it anyway - in the DR, she was talking about how she thought it was clever that Chanelle was getting into bed with him, and that she should do the same tonight but the damage was done...
If you thought it was a joke, fine, but I wasn't laughing! And neither were a lot of people. What she means is so clear - does she think all the viewers are thick or something?!

Fair point, but I didn't think it was amusing. Whether it was sarcastic or not, she said it, and the impression she's been giving all along is that - you can see it in her body language and the way she speaks. Ziggy mentioning her bitchy glares and stuff when Chanelle was with him; all these are completely uncalled for and unnecessary.

That may be true, but at least 'haters' as you call them are giving arguments and reasons to justify what they're saying - I can't say the same for fans. I wouldn't say I'm an Emily hater. I'm simply calling things as I see them.

Yeah I understand that 100% Im respect your opinion and every one of the people who dont like Emily. I just think that when people said she was lying, I udnno if you understand where Im coming from. The way I thought it was is that they were just discussing the possibility of Chanelle having a gameplan. Not necessarily saying that girls got one. To be honest everyone has the right to voice their opinion, and Emily did that in a discussion

What's your point? Emily knows Chanelle has a gameplan, it's no secret to the audience, the point of the argument is that she didn't admit it to Ziggy.
Ziggy changed the context and LIED, claiming Emily said "I think Chanelle's got a gameplan.
Ziggy lied.
Emily then tried to defend herself, and in the process, forgot to quote Ziggy in full, leading to her, technically, lying.
Ziggy lied first, and led Emily into contradicting herself.
Call it an equalizer, for Emily tricking Ziggy about nominations, but Emily sincerely believed she was defending the truth.

He may not like to be challenged, but I can't think of many people off the top of my head who do... but regardless of that, he handled the situation as well as he could I thought. I don't think anyone can be made to be seen in the wrong. What she said, she said - people can choose to interpret it how they want I guess, but the fact is that the majority of people disagree with the way she handles things and her general attitude.

I was referring more to previous posts. I should have quoted really, but if you had read earlier on you would’ve noticed.
Anyway, she did admit it to Ziggy in my view – she was basically stood there and mentioned it to him, and he was talking about not bringing Chanelle into it – did you miss that bit? I don’t think he lied at all; it’d be a miracle to get every single word right of the conversation or what exactly Emily said, especially at that time of night, but he put across the gist of that. If that’s lying, then I pretty much lie all the time.
I’m not quite sure what you mean by saying that Emily forgot to quote Ziggy in full. She seems to ‘lie’; well, twist the truth, quite a lot IMO so I can never be sure what she’s on about half the time. I just didn’t understand why she was playing the victim rather than standing up to the argument and truly airing her views if she believed them to be correct.

In your response you’re dismissing anyone’s perceptions or reasons, in favor of Emily and acknowledging the 'facts' from the haters totally.Your side is apparent.
I believe Emily said what she said in a different context to what people are making it out to be. It was said as more of an example, she didn't say ' I believe BlaBla has a gameplan!' That judgement is very wide of the mark.

Only in the last couple of minutes have I noticed people actually explaining why they think Emily is right - before that they didn't. So I was just saying that those who didn't agree with her had explained why.
I think you saying it's a different context is a fair point - I guess that just depends on different perceptions. I didn't think it was an example personally, because she gave reasons and subtely hinted as to why she thought Chanelle was doing what she did. Of course she wouldn't just blatantly say it out loud to everyone - I think she has a bit more intelligence than that, but the thing is IMO she knows it and knows how to manipulate that to deal with different situations.

I think it's really unfair to call half of this forum, or maybe even more, demented. We're all entitled to our own views and different people see things differently - I respect that. I'm not calling your view demented just because I don't agree with it; it's better to understand what the other person's saying rather than dismiss it like that.

Call it an equalizer, for Emily tricking Ziggy about nominations, but Emily sincerely believed she was defending the truth.
I was referring more to previous posts. I should have quoted really, but if you had read earlier on you would’ve noticed.
I read the whole thread before I posted, noticing the previous posts, but your presumption has been noted.
You ask if I missed the bit where Ziggy spoke about not bringing Chanelle into it, and your presumption is wrong, again. I saw the exact same argument as you Ash, it was long winded, it was complicated, contexts were constantly being changed and in my opinion, there was really no need for it. It's my opinion that Ziggy likes Emily and will gladly argue with her because it's a chnace to talk to her, and Emily has even admitted she's drawn to Ziggy for the plain and simple fact that he's a man. This is why I think they had this pointless argument. Now, we come to the point of who is lying about what, but in your post that I've quoted here Ash, you even claim that no-one should be expected to get all the words right when it's so late at night and so many things are being said, leading you to base Ziggy's innocence on this, yet in the same post, condemn Emily for exactly the same mistake. To further emphasise your point, you say Emily tends to 'twist the truth' alot and you can 'never be sure what she's on about half the time'.
I'm more than happy to continue this debate with you, but if you don't know what Emily's on about, maybe you arn't the best person to debate this with.
I understand what you mean. You find it hard to follow these silly arguments, especially when someone like Emily gets confused and begins to use too many words to explain her point, but I maintain my stance that Ziggy lied first, and led Emily into confusion, where she then forgot to quote him fully.
What she should have said is...
"I did not say....'I think Chanelle has a gameplan'....."
like Ziggy accused her of
...but she had become confused and was panicking and said
"I did not say ....."Chanelle has a gameplan"....."
....and in the truthful context of simple spoken word she did actually say.....'me and the housemates were discussing that Chanelle has a gameplan......"
...so she is now deemed a liar by her haters and critics, when it was Ziggy with the real lie.
This has become a pedantic issue, and Emily was being stubborn and confrontational, not for the first time this week, but, she is not a liar, because she did not intend to be deceitful.

We're going to have to agree to disagree then, because I've realised now that people will just see things differently. And, as I stated before, it's not her being condemned a 'liar' that annoys me, it's the way she handled the situation and dramatised everything (which I guess makes sense, but I still don't like it!) And I really don't think Ziggy fancies her and wants a chance to talk to her, although I could well be wrong. People have different tastes - if you find her attractive, it doesn't necessarily mean others will. I think she's fit personally, but a lot of my friends don't.
The phrase 'I don't know what she's on about' wasn't really meant literally - sorry, it's just a phrase I say quite a lot, meaning I don't agree with what she's saying. I should really keep those out of a debate! I personally don't think either one of them lied - they were both saying and expressing the gist of what they heard and interpreted it, but what bothered me was Emily just victimising herself instead of standing up for what she believed in with confidence. Arguing and playing victim is a bit too easy.
She should've really told Chanelle, because when she did speak to Chanelle, she was implying she used the term 'gameplan' loosely, when in fact I don't think that's true. She also said (to Chanelle) that she just thought Chanelle had her reasons for being in Ziggy's bed, whether it was a gameplan, whether it was to talk to him, etc. which clearly wasn't what she meant - and I lost even more respect for her when she did that.
Anyway, as I said at the beginning of this post, we'll just have to agree to disagree, because I can't see ourselves convincing each other, because it is all based on perceptions as I think I mentioned before, so it's best to leave it there.

The exact words were ' Me and the girls have been talking about Chanelle having a gameplan'. We can argue over semantics but, in my opinion, the argument was more due to the fact that Emily tricked Ziggy into revealing that he nominated her. Strange, but I'm starting to like her now and as for Ziggy, what a muppet falling for that one.

In the situation though, I probably would as well. I wouldn't expect someone to come out of the DR and say something of the sort, unless there was something more to it. But that comes down to me being gullible - I think for Ziggy, in the situation, he just did not see it coming. I think the argument was based on quite a few things built up.

There is no way BB would have revealed nominations in the diary room. Ziggy just started trying to justify his nomination instead of finding out exactly what had been said. He said way too much without knowing the score. Muppet.

I see what you're saying, but in the context you wouldn't think of that straightaway - I wouldn't. And it wasn't so much that episode that put me off Emily anyway. Well, I see you were starting to like her because of the drama - has that changed?

I think anyone would of fell into Emilys trap and that just shows how cunning she was. She came across as really aggressive going to throw a cup at one point she was very childish.
