What's progress? The leader of NK has been desperate to meet with the president (whoever was in office) for decades, but the US always refused to legitimise a regime that starves and tortures it's own people. the DPRK have not made any concessions whatsoever in terms of their nuclear program or human rights abuses, whilst at the same time gaining concessions from the US.

The fact they are meeting again suggests to me that Nk will get more concessions again, and will give up nothing in return.
