I think it's best we make a new thread for each episode like we did with AS4, but that considered we should definitely avoid elimination/bottom 2/winner/lipsync spoilers until the episode has aired - even if a big chunk of it has been leaked in advance of the airdate.

So here's the first 15 minutes of Season 11, and feel free to discuss their entrance looks, their personalities, and whatever else is in the video for now :p

I actually think Scarlet's look might be the most busted entrance of all-time? Like that makeup is atrocious... there's practically no difference between her in and out of drag :umm2:

I can see why so many people are underwhelmed, though... a lot of them are really muted. Loved A'Keria though, she's gonna be the voice of reason talking-head for sure.

Soju looker completely out of her depth with the others. Some of the queens just looked down on her the second she popped into the room.

Yvie is my season 11 spirit animal. I can take or leave the rest.

Loving A’Keria the most from the preview. Agree with Shaun, I think she’s gonna be the ‘Asia O’Hara’ type figure of the season.
Ariel seems like the ‘bitch’ of the season just judging from that clip.
Scarlet looks ATROCIOUS.
Don’t get the love for Silky, she seems quite irritating.
I was excited for Yvie but she looks pretty busted tbh here (although pretty FINE in her talking heads) i’ll let her off though.

Everyone else I don’t really have an opinion on as of yet.

On a pretty huge positive, the judges decisions this episode were the best they’ve been in a design challenge for a long time
I ranked all the looks before the critiques and 3 of my tops were top 4 and 3 of my bottoms were bottom 4 - I thought Scarlet or Shuga >> Vanjie and Ra’Jah<<Mercedes but I understand the placements for storyline purposes

Brilliant first episode. Wasn’t too excited about the queens on first glade but there’s plenty I could see myself loving.

Silky is ****ing atrocious, the sooner she’s gone the better. Felt sorry for Soju :( she seems lovely and was underestimated by the girls from the beginning, I was rooting for miss thing but her dress was hideous.

Yvie, Plastique & A’Keria would be my current top three.

Ugh Mercedes should've gone, looks like she's not going to bring anything and is obviously not ready to be on TV, and yeah I feel sorry for her being a Muslim drag queen must be hard and it might have put her in a shell but not talking and looking at the floor during your runway is not good.

Before the episode my favourites were Brooke Lynn and Silky, Brooke completely lived up to my estimation, she smashed that runway ugh.

Silky is a full on mess, if she carries on the way she was, she can leave pronto.

I thought she was pretty extra and annoying, but nothing...nasty. Hopefully just first day jitters. She seems sweet and personable enough, but then hey... I loved Eureka. Maybe I'm just nicer than you all :eyes:

The episode had far too many eyeroll moments for me: the ridiculous Miley goes undercover moment, the Vanjie pretending to hide and NoBoDy KnOwS~~~~ moment, Mercedes already being crucified for being a little bit lowkey and that pretty much sealing her as an early boot (despite the fact her look was absolutely fine and kinda cute :shrug:)

The fact she was B3 over Nina is...odd.

They really went HARD on the anti-Silky edit for episode one, which makes me think this either fizzles out really quick (like 'Aquaria and Miz Cracker are mortal enemies!' in S10, or 'Thorgy and Acid Betty HATE each other!' in S8) and Silky tones it down, or she goes home early :think: I hope not the latter, because there are a lot of driftwood queens I'm not really feeling at the moment (Honey, Scarlet, Kahanna, Ra'Jah, Plastique).

Tbf their looks were constructed from some random fabric out of a box. The gowns Soju brought and showed on Watcha Packin' looked really good, so I assume other queens have brought great looks too that they couldn't showcase this episode.
