This feels a bit deja vue , hope I'm wrong..
Imagine inviting people who want to do you serious harm. Into your home.
Why would you do it?

Well... I hope this highlights in injustice of terrorists being left in peace to live out their lives while soldiers who served 50 years ago are now being made to face charges for actions they were ordered into.
Terrorists are scum, whatever their cause, whatever their background... scum.

To scare the UK
The IRA killed a lot more Irish people than it ever killed Brits on the mainland. Really, it's the ordinary Irish people trying to get on with their lives I feel sorry for.

I agree, there was a time in this country when anyone with an Irish accent was viewed with suspicion... we've come a long way since then and it would be tragic to take a step backwards again now.

Obviously they wanted the police to know who was responsible? with ISIS claiming responsibility for everything, they were laying down a marker

its possible its someone who is trying to make a point about what a hard border will mean, may not be IRA at all, they do tend to claim responsibility early on for their actions or at least they used to
