Do you like Cher?

I was bopping to Believe in the last few months, and I decided to explore Cher a bit more bc I wanted to know why MamaRu loves her so much.

I literally knew like three of her songs (Believe, If I could turn back time.... okay maybe just two?)

But I started with her Greatest Hits album from 1992 and I LOVED Oh No Not My Baby and Whenever You're Near.

I also loved Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves, and today I've been BOPPING to Take Me Home. Gorgeous, ethereal disco :love:

What I really don't understand is why so many of Cher's albums before 1987 were flops?

She is good at dressing up and miming and plastic surgery , there is no stand out song for me - although her performances were mega star stuff when she really wasn't.
