I don’t know the answer or if there is one, I just saw people argue over it and it got me thinking. Its not something I really ever considered before.

I think having babies when you're old is quite cruel tbh bc you'll just be dead soon anyway

I hope this is aimed at fathers too
Miss Janet Jackson/Tina Malone etc got so much backlash yet Trump/Simon Cowell etc got naff all!
My Dad knocked one out in his 50s
But the answer is. Mind your own bloody business.

It depends on the individual, can that person care for that child, being and older Mum presents it own risks.

I would say realistically 50 to have a good chance of seeing the child through to adulthood, though obviously there are never any guarantees. I mean if you knock out a kid at 75 there's a pretty good chance you're not going to be at their 10th birthday party.
Obviously for females having kids past 45 - 50 isn't an option anyway without medical intervention. Personally I would say that's the "right" age to stop for both men and women.
But yeah, each to their own I suppose. I personally am glad to have had mine relatively young (first at 24, second at 27)... I can't imagine being up at 3am with a baby even NOW, let alone at 45 :umm2:.

This is a bit sensitive. As long as you have enough money and love it's fine.
Besides, you could have a kid and die in childbirth at the age of 22.

45ish I think, you want to be around a healthy enough to actually be able to raise them.
there is no age limit now with surrogates and frozen bits. The parents could easily have been feeding the daisies for decades before their first child is born
If you get pregnant when you're 19 and give birth when you're 20 that's okay but besides that much huh

Think all you breeders need to slow down anyway. The population is already too high

I reckon 40ish is a good age to stop,Specially if you have boys.
I’m younger than that and my boys knacker me out.
Full of energy.Always wanting to fight and play games that involve some kind of intense cardio.
They don’t half keep you fit.
I could imagine if i was mid 40’s I wouldn’t be able to keep up.

There isn't a limit. If you're still biologically able to have children and believe that you'll be fit enough to bring up the child until they're old enough to fend for themselves, then by all means go ahead.

Personally I want to be young enough to see my child grow up into adulthood and be able to do all sorts of different experiences with them. I'd prefer to have a child before 30 with this in mind.

I think having babies when you're old is quite cruel tbh bc you'll just be dead soon anyway
yeah but if you're a ****e parent it's a tad good for the kid
like I personally think any age is good to have a kid as long as you're able to bring the child up. but personally I'd wanna have a child while I'm young, if I will have kids that is
