there are only so many times the "Slutty Sally is soooooo slutty.... whenever she ______" questions can be entertaining, I guess. Plus most big celebrities have already been done so if there are repeats in the future at least the format will be different.

The Love one was good but I hope they haven't got another bland, attractive gay to ask the questions like Gus Kenworthy or that Keiynan guy. Both dreary af, and the show really would be better off going for queer celebrities with a sense of humour or wit. Hopefully getting in Love, Connie to do last night's workout routine, instead of some bland hottie, is a sign they're changing that.

I wouldn't miss it too much I guess but celebrity impersonation is a pretty vital part of drag (even when it comes to lipsync-performing) so I can understand why it's kept around. Last season's was good though :love:

The only thing I can think of with that theme name is "The Love Boat". They always had different celebrities guest appear each episode... but I still can't imagine how they are going to format that into a RuPaul episode.

I do love Shuga. And her show on YouTube is fun, but she's a complete non entity. Then again she's sweet and doesn't start arguments so they don't show her. Yvie and Silky will argue their way to the finale no doubt. Don't care about Vanjie every time she opens her mouth it's like a puppeteer has his hand up her ass. Nina for Miss Congeniality!!! Plastique, A'keria and Brooke I can take or leave.

A'Keria is the only one so far thats showing winning potential

Brooke is very good but the personality just isn't there.
Nina is cute but a mess and wont win.
Vanjie is a bit repetitive, shes only being kept for entertainment at this point.
Silky isnt bad for a bigger queen but still, not strong enough to be crowed.
Plastique/Shuga have been sailing through the middle for too long.
Yvie imo is one of the worst, but shes this seasons token 'im unique' queen so will almost definitely make the final and could possibly even win.

Shame they didn't bring back the wrestling challenge from Season 4. Yvie could complain about her ankle like LaQueer did. And I don't think Silky or Vanjie needs a reason to slap her.

The Snatch game was woeful, I didn't laugh once and I thought that Nina should have won since Silky just played herself and pretended it was TS Madison while Nina actually embodied her characters. Neither was that funny but Nina had the better performance.

I called the double shantay as soon as the bottom 2 were announced. I'm getting kind of annoyed how they seem to be doing a double every season now when it should be reserved for a truly jawdropping lipsync.

Watched the episode (but not Untucked yet) last night, general thoughts:

- Definitely one of the worst Snatch Games. I don't know enough about Tiffany Haddish but I assume Monique and now A'Keria have been safe for very safe performances of her in consecutive seasons and neither of them made her hilarious :unsure:
- I can't really argue with Silky winning. Her TS Madison was decent, and she was either lazy or smart picking someone close to her own personality depending on how you look at it, but she definitively had the best back-and-forth with Ru/the contestants and deserved the win. Shuga or Nina would've been fine winners, but the producers hate Shuga and so her airtime was made redundant :( despite having probably the best impersonation of the cast. Nina's runway was NICE but just nice, and picking two camp legends from 30+ years ago was a bit silly, would've made more sense to balance one of them with someone more current. I adore Harvey Fierstein though.
- Runway-wise, Shuga was outstanding, A'Keria and Silky were LOVELY, Brooke stole the show and should've been safe.

Intrigued by this "Plastique is a compulsive liar" edit the other queens are giving. I don't really buy it but :shrug: a House of Edwards girl being a bit fake wouldn't be the most original surprise.

Silky is really playing dumb and I am tiring of it, but still don't want to encourage the rabid viewers' hate-train. Plus, being called talentless was a really low blow and pretty much sealed my opinion of Yvie as a spiteful ****.

As for the lipsync... I thought it was basically Morgan vs. Sonique 2.0, except both of them were Sonique :shrug: Brooke at least tried to serve face as well as acrobatics, so I would've said she won it plus I'm a hateful biased bitch. Just thought it was more of a mess than anything jaw-dropping, there's not really much WOW value in someone doing a gymnastics routine for the entire performance.
