That can't really be done for particular users, just everyone.

It's better to use the New Posts and Today's posts links at the top, by the way.

Exactly, it’s my personal choice, I’m not going to post in there...ever, all it’s doing is stopping me seeing other recent threads in other sub forums which now I might not see cause live island is taking up all the recently posted in threads :fist:

Thought I'd show my support for this. I'm happy there's a forum now for those that watch it it would just be a handy option to have for those that don't, if it's possible to do. People who aren't interested in it aren't going to be interested whether they see the threads or not, it'd just make browsing the site easier imo.

Not one post the LI forum is appearing in the sidebar now, and this is the case most of the time, apart from the 9pm chat thread, the forum is not exactly heaving with posts, I would say this thread has had more time on the side bar than the actual forum threads :laugh:

Mind I once had a glitch that lasted a month where the only forum I could ignore was Ben from A1 :D Fairly sure I left it ignored in protest even when it sorted itself out.

If james dfoesn't reply in a day or so, will bring this up in admin

In Edit Options at the bottom in "Forums To Exclude From View" it doesn't allow me to select to hide BB15-19 because they're not options, but I do want to hide them. CBB2014-2018 also aren't on to be able to hide :(

I haven't been adding the option recently to exclude forums. The reason is I thought it reduced activity on the forum if some were hid from view.

I would agree with this tbh. If someone wants to hide the section, there will not be any reduced activity from them as they wouldnt post there anyway?

I also didnt know having the section on ignore stopped it from being in the index page? Would have thought it would be just not seeing any active posts showing on 'new posts'. If it affects the index page, I would be ignoring a lot of them tbh..pretty much everything bar SD, general and chat (alas, I cannot though!)

And..its surely rare to see bb 15-19 posts anyway these days? :suspect: Not saying option shouldn't be added though.

I have changed my mind from my previous posts in this thread. :pipe:

To exclude forum[s] go to 'User CP' - then 'Edit Options' on left - then select forums under 'Forums To Exclude From View' at the bottom of page.
