How are they concept albums :suspect:
I mean the first two definitely are - they're both albums collectively about a character or universe. Blurryface is is album about the character of blurryface, Trench is album literally about a whole new universe they've created.
Save Rock and Roll not so much, unless you refer back to the 'film' that was made using all the songs.
Morgan.

Okay thanks for your input?

Why has nobody said ARTPOP
Okay thanks for your input?
any time
Why has nobody said ARTPOP
hmm is it a concept album? it’s certainly cohesive but I can’t think of a strong concept apart from ‘artpop’ which Is kinda arbitrary

I’ve always thought of it as like a concept, and Wikipedia recognises it as a concept album so

Idk I just didn't think the songs really linked together to create a cohesive story - but that's just me

http://https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erotica_(Madonna_album)#/media/File%3AErotica_Madonna.png
I gave Erotica another spin this morning and it’s a concept album if I ever heard one! It’s an album where the sum is definitely much greater than the parts. Played from beginning to end it’s just a wonderful exploration of inversions of gender and sex, as well as attitudes to sex following AIDS. The way the album is so cold and detached whilst hard-hitting is honestly haunting. Those bass lines, and the soulful beats that run through the album ugh. Someone said every young gay should give Erotica a spin. I totally agree; it’s almost an historical artefact from 90s pop culture.
