Where were your favourite hang out places as a child?

Mine was the local park , I lived 20 yards from a playing Field so spent most of my child hood there

The stables, open air swimming pool, going to the club for the disco and the flicks, plus the free curry and rice on a Friday night.

Anywhere outside really, we were up and out as early as 8am in the summer and out until the street lights came on, then as teenagers we were always out and about just hanging around or going to the cinema, bowling, swimming, skating etc.

Anywhere where we could play when we were little, i remember in the summer holidays we would be out literally all day come back for dinner which would be eaten as quickly as possible so we could get back out. Then as teenagers we used to meet at the bus station, go to the offy, get giddy because we've been served with nasty cider then go get pissed on a park. Ahhh....good times :laugh:
