Strictly’s Tess Daly left heartbroken after running over and killing her family’s pet dog Minnie

The star accidentally drove over Maltese Shih Tzu Minnie as she returned home after builders left a door open and the pet escaped

Reports that she was aiming for Big Vern are as yet unconfirmed

shameful

the bit about Vernon, I admit has the hint of conjecture but one never knows with this ruthless wooden career woman

We only have her word that it was accidental, who knows what goes through her mind? had she consumed any alcohol? was she breathalysed?

I wouldn't have edited it at all tbh if there hadn't been so much fuss recently about editing titles to reflect the story/headline. And the article says it was accidental

Also I find it highly unlikely that she killed her own dog on purpose and have no idea why so many (inc elsewhere) have jumped to that conclusion based on..nothing :S

LT made a dogs dinner of that title.
However the new one seems a little flat.

Maybe so. However its been LT and a few others kicking off about titles that do not accurately represent the story. So, if people expect other peoples titles edited, they have to be prepared for that to apply to them too, IMO.

Good to see you back alf, btw :p

Well yes, theres that :umm2:

Because of course, killing your own dog is a surefire way to boost your career..kind of similar to when someone claims sexual assault/rape by a celeb, its immediately said that they want fame. Though, I cannot think of even one person who got famous for being sexually assaulted D:

I shouldn't laugh, awful for the little doggie, both my sister in law and Mr C's nephew have rolled over dogs, sister in law was reversing and with my nephew the dog was sleeping under the car (both puppies), its a horrendous thing to happen to anyone

Mrs TS almost ran over our cat a couple of months back, silly thing ran out from a lane into the road right in front of her but she hit the brakes in time and the little bugger turned on its heels and ran back the other way. She'd have been devastated if she'd squished that cat :bawling:

But now I'm always worried that she's out running in front of other cars :fist:. I saw her out of our upstairs window last week, being chased out of the neighbour's house by a dog. So she's not very danger aware!

The cat or Mrs TS?Both although it was the cat being chased out of the neighbours house. We wouldn't make it up the driveway, they've hated us for years because the guy was whining at me about cutting our grass (or rather, the failure to do so) and I made a ever-so-slightly sarcastic retort and he wasn't very pleased.

He pressure washes their driveway in the middle of winter the ****ing weirdo :hmph:.
