Avatar too big message when editing profile [threads merged - problem fixed]

This is mainly for the admins, I think? Everytime I try to edit my sig, it says my avatar is too big, yet it's from the avatar gallery thing. :S

Really? It seems to have worked if you edit your sig, then remove your av and click sumbit (or what ever the button says).

Yep thats what I did. But I cant upload an avatar now.

When i try to delete my banner in my sig, it comes up your avatar is too big. Then i deleted my avatar and tried again and the same thing came up.:conf2:

Because Emily has been ejected I wanted to change the colour of her name in my sig to red to indicate she'd left, but when I go to do it it says my avatar is too big. :shrug:

What has the alteration of my sig got to do with the size of my avatar lol. :conf:

That happened to me, until I changed my avatar to something which isnt a avatar from the site.

Just remove the text in the avatar section, then edit your sig, and click 'OK'. It should work then. :thumbs:

When you upload an avatar, Ash, if you go to the bottom of the Edit Profile page on your Control Panel it links to your avatar.:thumbs:

If a picture is too big it will not upload. The maxium size of an avatar is 150x160 pixels.Theres a resizer site :thumbs:

Some people who have an avatar selected from the avatar gallery were getting an avatar too big message when trying to edit their profiles. This problem should be fixed now.

Ok, go to Control Panel/Options---edit profile

browse, find the one you want to use, and then click EDIT PROFILE at the bottom and it should show.
