There is a progression of change through the years...it has always been a show that is constantly evolving. One of the reasons I have always liked it was because my favs from past other reality TV came back season after season and grudges and drama have always carried along. You might not like the older seasons because you wouldn't have that connection like you might have now that they are pulling from such a variety of new different reality shows.

So I can't really compare is what I'm saying lol

I think;
Classic RW vs RR - 1 to 7
Mixed Team challenges - 8 to 11, the inferno 1 felt like something new
Fresh meat 1 era - 12 to 18 the fresh meat 1 cast started to dominate up to Kenny and Evans infamous outing on the ruins, just in time for fresh meat 2
Fresh meat 2 era - 19 to 20 short era because the show was failing and the fresh meat 2 gang were pretty lame, but a lot of new faces.
Rivals 1 - 2 team challenges - 21 - 29 - regeneration of the show and it really worked, rivals 1 was amazing but the 2 team challenge have got stale
Dirty 30 onwards - show started to have less of a format and more of a just free for all feel to it.
