View Full Version : England makes me sick, what is happening to this country

I 100% agree with Bbs decison.
I am a 22 year old black man born in this contry and i am sickened by the outcry over Emilys removal.
The ease of how Emily used that word is scary. The vast majority of my friends are white and i have never been called n****** not even in jest. I have a feeling that emily is racist and uses this word a lot to describe blacks. If you are non-black ask yourself how many times you have used the word n******..im guessing not many.
i belivee Emily words were ' urrgh u are pushing it out you n******'. This is cleary derogatory. its not the same as someone say whats up my n****** the YOU part of her sentence is the key. Where whats up my n****** is creating a sense of belonging and togetherness 'YOU' is clearly not.
The word n***** is definitly worse when said by a white person and that is the truth. It was a word created by whites during slavery to describe blacks so a non white using the word would definitly not upset me as much as a white person.
Being called a n***** is difficult to explain to a non-black person as i am sure being called a p*** is to a non asian. Coming from personal experience of a racist attack i recieved, it leaves you feeling INADEQUATE, SMALL, and WORTHLESS. it is genuinly the worst thing anyone could ever say to me
Nicky and Charly were only repeating Emily when the said the word. If i went to poliice after being racially assualted and repeated what was said to me would i then be arrested? of course not that would be ridiculous. If Charley said the word of her own accord then i am pretty sre she would be punished by big brother. The fact is Charley WAS deeply offended, she was still up at 3 in the morning talking about it. She said she wasnt but that was just to cover her true feelings.
So what do the majority of people protesting over BBs descision want? for n***** to become commonplace among non-whites? if i get called a n***** in the street and become upset will i see no justice because some idiot uses it in a rap song? This is a sad sad day and shows that RACISM IS STILL RIFE IN ENGLAND

It's a sad fact of life - racism does exist, but not only in England - it's worldwide, and there will always be undertones. Education is the key, and making sure people become less and less ignorant and more and more tolerant. I agree that the way Emily used the term so loosely probably means she is familiar with it, and apparently it's used quite a lot in Bristol, according to her. I think the term n***** is far worse even than p*** for example, simply because of where it was derived from, but any racially offensive word is totally unacceptable - especially on live TV!
As far as I'm aware, people understand what she did was wrong but most of those who disagree with her ejection think she should have been punished in some other way. What they're probably forgetting is that BB would've received even more complaints and if anything would've made things worse for Emily.
what i want is no one to use the word.
emily shouldnt ofsaid it i understand.
i dont get why charly can say it and get away with it... saying only black ppl can say it is racist. i feel offended by that!

me too fom
I don't agree with the word.. I hate hearing it used by anyone, regardless of the colour of anyone's skin.
I also 100% agree with BB's decision.. I think most, if not all, people do here.
So what do the majority of people protesting over BBs descision want? for n***** to become commonplace among non-whites?
I hope not .. I have not really seen many people protesting over what was said.. if they are then they meerly don't understand that what Emily said was wrong.
Coming from personal experience of a racist attack i recieved, it leaves you feeling INADEQUATE, SMALL, and WORTHLESS. it is genuinly the worst thing anyone could ever say to me
I can imagine it does.. From a personal experience I've had any form of racism or bullying should never happen.. I hate bullies that assume you are something you are not or accuse you of things that you are not even saying.. sad isn't it.. in this day an age.

I don't understand, there would have been just as big an outcry if she hadn't been removed from the house. I agree with a lot of your points, no-one should ever use that word, if it wasn't clear before just how much it offends people (black and white), it should be now but I rarely hear anyone use that word and I certainly don't so it's not as though England is made up of racists.

I hope this post makes Emilys supporters see what she did wrong, but as fair as they are concerned she offended no-one, and they carry on supporting her because she is 'pretty' or whatever.
Im sorry you got offedned by it, but not all of us English people are like that vile bitch Emily, or Jade Goody.

I totally agree. It's horrifying to see people defending Emily despite witnessing what she said and how she said it. It WAS an insult, it was used in a demeaning way in the context. I'm sick of people saying "in the context it wasnt racist" well, it WAS!!!
I'm glad you acknowledge also that rappers who use the word in "songs" are idiots too, I agree with this also - the N word does nothing for anyone except degrade them.
Even in the context of a black person saying to another black person "whats up my n****" it's kinda like they have accepted that they are lower class than a white person to use that word. Imagine if two white people greeted each other with "hey, what's up white-trash?"
They shouldnt have to feel that way, everyone should be equal.

Alright, but there is one part of that that I can see where she's coming from - 'made white people victims and scared to say what they want', only it certainly isn't black people or Asian people who have done that, it's the government who have changed Christmas to 'winterville' in some places, changed 'baa baa black sheep' to 'baa baa fluffy sheep', the government is at fault for making EVERYONE too scared to say what they think. So I suppose I actually don't agree with what she said... And I know it's irrelevant to BB, I just felt it had to be pointed out.

Racism isn't as rife in England, you ask the vast majority of people and the colour of someone's skin isn't an issue. It's always the minority that give British white people a bad name.
I've studied the history of the 'n' word a few years back in school and if you take into account what happened and what the true meaning of that word is, you can see why some people will be offended and be very angry with Emily, and rightly so.
I think the black youth of today throw this word around without knowing the true meaning of what it stands for and thats the problem because people like Emily think it's 'street' and 'cool' to copy these people and will think 'Oh they can say it in such a relaxed manner, well so can i' and this is mirrored across society.

Your always going to get the dilincquant idiots hating, that goes without saying. Nearly every country in the world has racial problems, in contrast Britain has come a long way into making racism a frowned upon thing, amongst all ages and ethnicities.

Which is a good thing, because debate brings feelings to the surface and then you know what is happening. At least Britain isn't hiding behind a smokescreen saying it isn't happening, we know it is (if the last two BB's are to go by) and things are being implemented so in the future this shouldn't have to be such a debatable subject.

I am so wound up by the fact that it's OK for a black women to say, "I can say ******, because I is a ******" (Charlie's quote not mine) yet a white person cant say it too her. If this word is deemed offensive to black people then they shouldn't be allowed to say it themselves. Emily said that word with no offense meant what so ever, and I myself have said it in the past to Black friends of mine as I believe if they can say so can we. To say we cant is THE most racist comment of them all.

Charley used the word first, in the house.
The defence for Emily is that she was using the word in the context she presumed to be 'friendly', and it had already been used by a black member of the house. Several days passed before Emily used the word, so she assumed that there was an equal standard. Big Brother set that standard when they let Charley go unpunished.
I appreciate your point of view, and can't even imagine the suffering you have endured at the hands of real racists, but it is 2007, there is a new context for the word ****** and it is spoken all over the country, and that context is around because black people have kept it around, just like Charley introduced it into the Big Brother house. So now, we all, black and white face the prospect of being particularly considerate of how we use the word ******, and lets hope we can all move forward to day when none of us says it at all.

Which is a good thing, because debate brings feelings to the surface and then you know what is happening. At least Britain isn't hiding behind a smokescreen saying it isn't happening, we know it is (if the last two BB's are to go by) and things are being implemented so in the future this shouldn't have to be such a debatable subject.
i disgree as a black/asian woman i feel this country is the one who pretends their is no problem between people of different races. just looking at some of the comments i've heard over the last day or so proves we have still got a long way to go.

When? Did I miss it? I was only aware of the below:
Emily: (referring to Charley dancing/pushing her hips forward) You pushing it out you ni**er.
Nicky: (shocked laughter) Em, I can’t believe you said that.
Charley: You are in trouble.
Emily: Don’t make a big thing out of it then. I was joking.
Charley: I know you were… but that’s some serious ****, sorry.
Emily: Why?
Charley: Oh my god. I’m not even saying it.
Nicky: Just don’t talk about it anymore.
Emily: I was joking
Charley: Do you know how many viewers would watch that?
Nicky: Okay, don’t make a big deal out of it.
Charley: Fancy you saying that. I can’t believe you said that.
Emily: Somebody has already used that word in this house.
Charley: No way. (Pause) Yeah, me. I’m a n*****r.
Nicky laughs.
Charley: I am one. Fancy you saying it. I know maybe you see it in a rap song. Maybe you and your friends sit there saying it.

Emily said that word with no offense meant what so ever, and I myself have said it in the past to Black friends of mine as I believe if they can say so can we. To say we cant is THE most racist comment of them all.
The answer to this is obvious. White people used the word N**** in a degrading way to describe black people as slaves. So when a White person calls a black person to this day the N word of course it is not a nice thing to do.
It's all down to the meaning behind the word.
The way Emily used the word in context WAS degrading and used as an insult. She didnt' say "hey Charley what's up my n***a" (if she was trying to be hip/cool/street) She used it at the end of a sentence which was the basis of an insult (albeit jokingly) Jokingly or not, Emily used the N word in a degrading way...
"your pushing them out YOU Ni***er"
btw... reports are coming in from lots of people saying they have been racially abused by Emily in the past. I know those skeptics will rear their ugly heads here and say "dont believe everything you read" but again, these people give their full names and full accounts of how Emily abused them and I believe them after what I have seen of this vicious, middle-class brat.
Good ridance to her.

You keep saying this but I've yet to see youy provied any evidence.
Charley admitted it herself, the words "about a week ago", in response to the question 'when did you say it in here?'. I need no more proof than admittance from her own mouth, regardless of her timeline inaccuracy.

when you get a mixed race pair of freinds sat around singing rap and r n b tunes together all day you cant really be surprised if the n word slips out sooner or later.........black people should clean up the problem on their own doorsteps (the use of the word in their own music and video) if they really want to see the end of the words use. i guess thats not easy to do though because it only takes a minority to give the majority a bad name.

I think that on the whole most people are aware of what they say and do! I would not expect anyone to make excuses for me or my behaviour to struggle when another adult has this many people making excuses for her. She is an intelligent young woman and knows right from wrong, she chose to say something she knows is a sensitive word and has paid the price.
I would never assume to call a black person that, why would anyone assume it's ok to call someone that, it is degrading.

have you used that word? yeah Ive been in emily's position, Im far from racist, been into dub reggae for 20 years and think most black culture is great.
My mate at work and i were always shouting along lyrics to rap tapes and i always used to make a conscious effort not to say the n word out loud but i slipped up once, I'll never forget how upset my mate was by the word coming from my lips, made me realise, he told me off big time and i felt hollow but he understood it was an accident.

I agree with the people that are saying that black people are just as much to blame as white people and from what I have read in this topic I feel that the black people are kind of going on at the white people too much. Ok so you have been called the N word in the past and been bullied for it but if black rappers didn't use this word all the time in their music then this generation of people wouldn't use these words! so I guess to stamp this out completely we need to make sure that black rappers can't use these words anymore. Getting back to Emily and Charley... Ok I've said before in another topic that Emily should have stayed and it wasn't just her fault... and I still think that, and yes Charley and some of the other girls have been singing RnB songs and that word has come up. I do think Emily was a little stupid for saying it but she should have just got a warning... and for Charley making it into an even bigger thing didn't help and to go and say "Oh I'm defo going to be in the papers for this guys" it doesn't help at all and she needs to get over herself... she isn't special in the slightest... she's so braindead!... and I think Shabnam shouldn't have gone on like she did. Emily did not say it in a malicious or hurtful way at all unlike Jade Goody in CBB5 when she really did mean it! and Charley shouldn't have been so hurt by it because she was only using the word like black rappers do. I think Big Brother didn't deal with this issue very well... I think they only removed her so they looked good for what happened in the last Celebrity Series... It depeands on the situation, who is saying it, and in what context it was said.
I used to go out clubbing every weekend with some friends in Manchester who were originally from Zambia in Africa. They got called "*****", "indians" (just shows you peoples ignorance) and "blacks" sometimes, from people who had had a bit much to drink. I would just turn around and say something like "what about it white honky"? They never knew how to comeback on that one not 1 single time (being white myself). If my friends had said that, the situation would have been very different!
I was not being racist as it was said to a person who was the same race as me. If one of my friends would have said it, then it would have been racist. So, as it has been pointed out before, you can't be racist against your own ethnicity (hence why some black people are ok with calling each other *******).

Yes. It's exactly the same as if you were a black person, and had been called a 'n****r' by a white person. Based on both cases being offensive.

Saying that though, there are a lot of black and Asian celebrities who seem to go out of their way to make their skin look as white as it can, not that I think they're being racist against their own ethnicity but why do they do it?

well they obviously do that's why the word is used in RnB music!
most r' b singers don't use it actually it's hip hop artists.

well whatever that says it all, were all the same to you right? good point, if people see every black person as being the n word that is well out of order, Its just a shame the major contribution black culture gives the world seems to want to keep black people down by using the word, not just by using the word but gloryiying violence, theft and other crimes.
Some white people are dumb enough to believe the hype.

No way should you get beat up for skin colour, my point was to illustrate how racism works both ways and how decent black people are being betrayed by there own culture.

Some white people are dumb enough to believe the hype.
No when I said... "Well whatever" I said it to when you said they use the word in Hip Hop music as I said they use it in RnB music... this stuff you call music is all the bloody same to me I dunno what they call it!

There are heaps of people in England, and in (Scotland, Wales, and North Ireland) that don't support racism at all. You can't stereotype a whole country by a few ignorant people. It's a shame to know that there are some people in this country that use racist terms. But it's also comforting to know that there are many people against racism in forms. I'm content with the way the matter was handled. If you don't agree with how hings are going here, then move to the States, or Canada, or Spain. I feel like the situation was handled very well, and I'm proud that there has been such an outcry against racism.

I think everyone’s missing the real issue here. I believe that the comment made by Emily was a complete set up, after BB was slated after the business with Jade and Shilpa because Channel 4 handled the whole situation wrong by allowing the group that were at the centre of the Shilpa Shetty bullying to continue to stay in the house, which only outraged the viewers more. Therefore I believe they set the whole thing up so they could then remove Emily from the house immediately.
I have trouble understanding exactly for racism is. I mean I’m rather a large women and get offended if someone said “You fat cow” I would also be offended if someone wrote a song with the words “You fat cow” in the lyrics but when it comes to the word N***** its perfectly expectable, perhaps someone would be kind enough to explain why this this?
Big_Brother_Nutter
08-06-2007, 05:52 PM
That is a very good point... how do we know that Channel 4 didn't set this all up... before the show began when they were in hiding they could have told them what to say!, when to say it!, and how to say it! (in order not to get so many complaints)... cmon think about it people... one of the many possibilites in order to get publicity and money!:shocked:
It all seems a bit fishy to me as we have another race row espcially how its occuring in the following series from the first race row! :conf::conf::shocked:
If this is the case then Channel 4 are absolute morons and have picked the worst time to do... if you are gonna be clever and pull a stunt like that at least pull it a couple of years after... all of this is coming from my wierd head and none of you have to read this really but think about it lol

Well you could say I am on both sides of the fence. I'm a bus driver and work with many black guys, some of which call each other N****R..I personaly hate that word, not because of what it stands for today but what it stood for 200 years ago...the so called 'master race' (KKK) still use the word and teach their children what a nice word it is :puzzled:
On the other side, I have black nieces and nephews, I say black but they are all mixed race, but prefer black. My neice, the oldest, is the only one that calls me uncle N****R :laugh2: Funny I know, but I keep telling her I hate it but she says in the black community, blacks callng other blacks is not a bad thing as they have tried to turn a bad word into good...calling your friend a N****R mean like, brother.
As for BB, I agree she should have been removed from the house but after the last episode we had they should never had shown it.
I don't get why ppl are saying Emily was "nudged" into it, by singing hip hop and rnb songs.
How ridiculous, I am mixed race (half black) and I listen to alot of hip hop, also reggae/bashment music, though I personally dont use the word *****. And just because I listen to music which says it, it does not "nudge" me into it.
Emily clearly said she uses it at home among friends, not only that but I assume she is not the kind of girl who even listens to that much hip-hop and is more an "indie" girl as she has already said.
So how was she nudged into it?
And if on this occassion she was "nudged" into it, what about the other occassions SHE ADMITTED TO back home. Was she "nudged" then too.
C'mon ppl, don't try and defend the girl. She used a racist word, I have white friends who follow the "black" culture but they would know not to use the word, especially around someone you have just met.
Also there are not many white rappers you could find that use the word too.
I just cant see how someone would feel it is ok to use it bcos black ppl do. When black ppl use it, it is to identify someone, as a term of endearment, who is like themselves BLACK, uh, hello white ppl you are clearly not black, so why use it.
"your pushing it out you ******"
I do understand, how it being used in music/films can make others feel as though they can say it... but the point is, they cant, and they shouldnt, and you cant defend them for doing so.

I think it comes down to a post I made in another thread... many people of different races who call themselves terms like that do it to ease the pain and humiliation they feel when a person of a difference race calls them it. And they say it amongst themselves in a way so that it's almost ridiculing people who call them it; making themselves feel comfortable when they're together, in other words. It does not mean they like the term. Well, normal ones don't.
So I don't understand why anyone should say it to them and make them feel hurt/confused in the first place. They (the teens in particular) try and put on a sort of 'hard' image so they don't get picked on, and act like it doesn't bother them... and it's developed.

Lets get off the Slave trade, that has nothing really to do with the subject..though I hate the word I see no reason why black guys and gals can call it between themselves, christ, I'm sure, for example, if a black guy walked up to his friend and said "Hey, ******" If he found it offensive he would tell him. I hear black guys calling each other N****R all the time, I even asked one driver if it offended him, he said no, it like saying "Hey, brother"
And yes..****** DOES mean, friend, bro, brov, blood!!! Go and ask a few black guys, they will soon tell you.

Well, actually I wouldn't know, I'm not gna say there aren't any because I haven't heard every lyric of every white rapper in the world.
But thus far in my life, I have not heard any.
AND, there aren't any in mainstream music that use it, which would be more understandable of how it would come about among everyday white ppl.
Oh yeah, and ppl say Emily said it to look 'cool'

Does that include the black youth who use it as a greeting to each other then? should they also become more educated about the absolute insult that the word is.
I personally would never call anyone anything that could be construed as offensive, but hey thats just me I was brought up with manners, respect and an awareness of other cultures, religions etc...
I dont agree with it being used by anyone, but I kind of understand why some people would be angry that its ok for a black person to use that word and not for a white person! I can see why some will see it as double standards so to speak. I dont feel that way, I feel that it was an inappropriate comment made by a silly girl.
I also dont buy into that she was nudged into it, no way was she going to allow herself to be set up as a figure of hatred

to be honest i do not understand why people are complaining about BB's decision to remove emily, she is clearly racist, and its amazing how easy that word slipped of her lips
she says she uses that word alot where she comes from, but that is no excuse for using it to describe someone you barely know. I think BB made the right decision, if she had of stayed in who knows how many complaits there would have been
The people who are complaining are probably fans of Emily and probably belive that she was joking, the fact is that there are many other words you could use, but n***** is racist and should not be used as part of a joke, wheter you know the person or not

I do agree with that, perhaps emily heard charley describing herself as a N***** and thought it ok to use that word, but Charley is allways looking for trouble
However that is no excuse for Emily to have used the word she did, no matter what context it was in

But still a few problems & I have to criticise.
I 100% agree with Bbs decison.
I understand that you are entitled to your opinion, but many, many disagree with that
I am a 22 year old black man born in this country and i am sickened by the outcry over Emilys removal.
Whether you are white or non-white, it shouldn't matter either way, "whether it is viewed as a problem or not". That depends on the individual. Many white people find it offensive, because they are against a person saying a racist word or comment at that time or any other time. Many non-white people find a word or comment which is racist, to be "Non-offensive", it depends on the individual every time. If you are saying that you are a non-white person who finds Emily to be a problem, then you are entitled to your opinion. Your opinion as an individual
The ease of how Emily used that word is scary.
Emily said the (N) word & she did it in the way that she said that she did it. Nothing more, Nothing less. If you personally find it "Scary", it is okay for you to say that. But I wouldn't say it was much more than Emily described herself.
The vast majority of my friends are white and i have never been called n****** not even in jest.
That is fortunate in your own situation. Many people who are non-white are in a different position & do get called the (N) word & perhaps more or less.
I have a feeling that emily is racist
Emily is NOT racist, sorry....
and uses this word a lot to describe blacks.
Listen to what Emily has said & the way she said it & her reasons for saying it. After that, look at everything which has happened beyond Emily saying it & over the next few days, it will be much more clear. Emily is NOT a racist housemate.
If you are non-black ask yourself how many times you have used the word n******..Im guessing not many.
I haven't heard anyone call myself that & I am white. I haven't heard anyone else who is white, ever been called that either. I have never heard anyone call a "Car", (A Pram) either. Because a Car has nothing to do with a Pram. The same applies to your observation.
i belivee Emily words were ' urrgh u are pushing it out you n******'. This is cleary derogatory.
Emily has explained what she did & how she did it. Nothing bad was ever meant. The rest is quite easy to work out
its not the same as someone say whats up my n****** the YOU part of her sentence is the key. Where whats up my n****** is creating a sense of belonging and togetherness 'YOU' is clearly not.
Emily is not being taught by someone who knows what you are saying. She is on the BB8 show and has been ejected by using the (N0) word. Also, if the (N) word HAD been mentioned with the words, "What's up my (N)", BB would have ejected her and the media would have STILL reacted in the same way, regardless of your analysis
The word n***** is definitly worse when said by a white person and that is the truth.
That is the truth & I have to agree with that.
It was a word created by whites during slavery to describe blacks
It comes from the word, "Negro" & your above description is correct. Most will know this.
so a non white using the word would definitly not upset me as much as a white person.
Dead correct:thumbs: I wouldn't be offended if someone called me the (N) word, as I am white & what you say is true
Being called a n***** is difficult to explain to a non-black person as i am sure being called a p*** is to a non asian.
Which non-white person/people are you talking about? It is difficult to work out what you are actually saying there.
Coming from personal experience of a racist attack i recieved, it leaves you feeling INADEQUATE, SMALL, and WORTHLESS.
It is understandable, if you, yourself, have experienced this attack & you, yourself, find it terribly offensive. Many other non-white people will feel differently
it is genuinly the worst thing anyone could ever say to me
If that is how you personally feel, then we can all understand that view
Nicky and Charly were only repeating Emily when the said the word.
We all saw the shown footage
If i went to the police after being racially assaulted and repeated what was said to me would i then be arrested? of course not that would be ridiculous.
Of course you wouldn't be arrested. We all know that, or, we should all know that
If Charley said the word of her own accord then i am pretty sre she would be punished by big brother.
Endemol have to follow protocol & they are being (More than watched) you know:wink:
The fact is Charley WAS deeply offended, she was still up at 3 in the morning talking about it.
We don't know what is going through Charley's mind at this stage. I would delay judgement on that view until later on
She said she wasnt but that was just to cover her true feelings.
Unless someone is psychic, they can't really say that comment. It needs much more clarity first
So what do the majority of people protesting over BBs descision want? for n***** to become commonplace among non-whites? if i get called a n***** in the street and become upset will i see no justice because some idiot uses it in a rap song?
Rap music contains the (N) word. The majority of BB viewers are not complaining. Check the viewing figures against the amount who have actually complained & you will find the answer you are looking for
This is a sad sad day and shows that RACISM IS STILL RIFE IN ENGLAND
Racism exists, you know. It is very real & actually happens & won't ever end. While someone is watching the BB show, racism will be occuring all over the place. So it is a sad day, every day & for anyone to ever imagine that it will end, they are having a dream instead of being a realist.
Endemol have policed the show properly this time & that is the issue, nothing else is the issue.

I love conscious hip hop too, but i think u'll find artists such as kweli, do too use the word *****. Bugsy, the OP specified England, not the United Kingdom or Great Britain. They're different things altogether.
It's just England s/he has a problem with.
And are scotland and wales any different? And N.Ireland.

as a black man you should understand that it is you that makes this word so popular by calling each other it.
if you want to call each other it in a joky way, why cant we do the same?
get out of here with that rubbish.
its ok for jermaine jackson to call us white trash tho???
hahaha, what the hell are YOU talking about??????
Firstly, no one was debating whether it was right or wrong for JJ to say white trash.
Secondly, black ppl do not say it in a JOKEY way - it is a term of endearment for someone alike them - BLACK.
So why can't you do the same? because you're not alike them, you're not black, so the way in which you would say it would change the meaning round completely.
get out of here with that rubbish"

Okay, I don't know many racially offensive words that a white person could be called (probably really shameful) but I know that 'honky' is a racist term against white people, I just wondered, if you're white, would you be offended if someone called you that?
Can I just bring my point forward again, as I think it was overlooked.

Good point. I understand what you mean.
However, I do believe on some occassions you can be racist to your own race, for example, some racists would not like my mum for marrying a black man and having children with him - although I am not sure if the correct term for it would be racism.

I understand what you are saying, but I was not being racist. I was just being ironic, to shut the racists up. And my point really was to highlight the difference in me saying what I did, and if my friends had said it.

I am a white person and i would be scared to live in some places in this contry! for example osterley london the majority living there are asians and my aunt works in a dentist there and my aunt is the only white one workign there but she doesnt have a problem with that as she gets on with them but anyway an asian client comes in and after a check-up he says to someone of the reception " i left my notes with the white one" but she laughed it of yet i cant help thinking if it was the other way round it would be taken seriously? My sister also has an auburn hair colour and has been teased at school by some people but this wouldnt be taken seriously like racism is and yet judging someones hair colour is just as bad as judging someones skin colour!
Im so scared at whats happening to the world! Everythings gone to far..

I wasn't trying to imply you are racist. Sorry if it seemed that way.
I totally understood what you were saying and why you said it.

Adolf Hitler was racist towards his own ethnicity. He believed blonde haired, blue eyed Aryans were the supreme race, but he himself was not a blonde haired, blue eyed Aryan. Also, according to history books, he oversaw the genocide of anyone who was not, for a short time.
England put a stop to that, along with other countries who respect equality.
