...I doubt it’s ‘finished’ or even close to being finished...I’ve been on very quiet forums before and they can run for a long time being quite slow, so long as members still keep logging on...which they seem to be...?...from an objective, unemotional/detached view though in the last few weeks only....it’s not looking great...the dynamics of it do not seem to be that positive...

...I’m sure TiBB will go on for a little while longer, Nicky...but even when it doesn’t I’m sure there’ll be a spin off... as in another forum forming with members so I wouldn’t worry too much as I think there will be somewhere for you to spend your time with people you know and like to chat to and about the things you like to chat about...

Not dead but we've lost regulars faster than we've gained them for the last couple of years and now BB is dead so unless the sire restructures to attract other reality telly fans, OR Big Brother miraculously gets picked up by another network and finds a new audience, I think the forum will probably fizzle out in < 5 years.

I also don't see TiBB dying because we have a good moderation team and quite active admin who catch the bots and things - the only other two forums I was on that ran into the ground were because admin/mods were inactive and porn bots took over

(The forums were The Burn Book and Heat Magazine forums lol)

Nah, was always going to be quieter when BB finished..off season always is. I expect without some form of rebranding, or BB coming back eventually it will fizzle out, but not for a while yet. I think we are all too..close? That sounds weird and not sure if it conveys quite what I mean it to but like..theres some members I really cannot stand, never agree with and they annoy the living hell out of me, BUT I still wouldn't really want to see them go, and fairly sure they dislike me but love arguing with me too :D So even those I dislike I like in a way. We all kind of know each other too well for the forum to just...end because BB did. Again, eventually it will I guess without changes, but I don't see that being for a long time yet.

New members too..only tended to stick around til BB ended (a few each year stuck around for off season, but not many..its pretty much always been the same 'group'). So not having as many new members does not matter that much IMO. Of course every now and again we do need them, but generally speaking, they only ever spoke about BB anyway so it won't be a huge loss to the forum to not have as many, given BB is not really spoke about as its not on now :laugh:

By that I mean it’s a bit of a release valve for me to talk and discuss things I don’t normally discuss with work colleagues etc as we don’t share the same interests, so it’s great I can talk about things I like with other people that share similar interests.

Also, one of the things that did attract me to this forum was how a lot of people here get along and even when there is debate and things get a little heated, it’s nice to see that everyone can still get along and not hold any agendas. Kinda like what Vicky said, you may disagree with each other and what not, but you wouldn’t want to see them leave the forum.

I felt like I needed to say this because I thought it maybe a good idea to get a perspective from a newish member, but it’s been great posting on this forum and I intend to stick around for longer :hee:
