Paris Hilton sent back to prisonCelebrity heiress Paris Hilton has been taken screaming from a Los Angeles court after being told to return to jail to serve out her sentence.
The celebrity heiress was ordered to attend the hearing rather than listen to the proceeding by telephone.
Hilton left jail on Thursday, just three days into a 45-day sentence for violating probation on a driving ban.
Her release from the prison, on unspecified medical grounds, had sparked widespread criticism.
Hilton attended court to hear the case for her "reassignment" to house arrest.
She arrived in handcuffs and cried throughout the court session.
The judge said that she would have to serve her full 45-day sentence.
"It's not right!" she shouted in response, before calling out to her mother in the audience.
She has been held at the Century Regional Detention Centre in Lynwood, California, in a special unit for celebrities, public officials, police officers and other high-profile inmates, and has so far served five days of her sentence.
No details of the medical problem have been given for "privacy reasons".

What was the point? She should have stayed in.
But at least shes not putting up a fight.
Good luck again Paris:hello:

She needs to serve her time and when she comes out I will have a greater respect for her

I wonder how this will effect how long she has to serve? Will she now have to do the full 45 days? Can she still get time off for being good?

It does say in that report that the judge said she will have to serve her full 45 days but I'm not sure

So shes back now, why did they release her in the first place?
Shes had to go though that in court for nothing.
but good luck to her finishing her term.
I have lost all respect for Paris. She did the crime, so it's good that she's back in to do the time.
Though I will never comprehend why she was released in the first place.

Paris said she felt awful but the thing is, im sure everyone else in the jail do too. just because shes a celeb doesnt mean she should be treated differently.

But she is. She spent her entire time crying and pleading to people to let her out and when the judge said she had to go back she shouted "It's not right!" - Of course it's right, she did the crime so she should do the time. I dont believe her act for a second. I think its a disgrace that she was let out in the first place.

Well you cant expect everyone to go "Aww poor Paris", you have to admit what she did was wrong and that she deserves to be punished. If don't want to discuss this then don't post about on a fourm that clearly two-sided and instead it would be best to post in a Paris Fan fourm.
If you think Paris deserved to get away with this then your kidding yourself.
Paris fan should be happy that she is being thought a lesson and that this could possibly stop her from getting into trouble in the future. I don't for a second hope that "that ***** deserves to rot in hell", i like Paris and i have watched her on 'The Simple Life' since series 1.

I actually do not think this is fair.
It seems like an all American fiasco. I know very little of Paris Hilton other than watching one program from the simple life in which she was very rude and one nightclub video on you tube where she went up to someone and used the `N` word.
One minute she gains respect for saying she will use this experience to learn something, and on the other hand she's screaming at the judge saying it's unfair. I will just say that I don't get her, but she will be better off if she just gets on with it.

No, I do think she should be punished.
But I think tis absolutely pathetic. She was all for it, she said herself, and then they took her out.
Imagine being told your allowed to go home, how happy she'd be, then told again she has to go back. Course shes going to say its unfair.
I dont mind disucssing it with people with unbiased actual opinions, but the people just saying that she just be locked up, I have no time for.
People actually forget that Paris Hilton is a human being, and not just 'that old slut'
Its upsetting! Because the way some people talk about her is horrific.

I agree Chrizzle it was unfair of them to let her go and then make her go back. Like you said she should just have said she should have stayed in prison and done her time.
Any news of the nature of the illness?

She obviously wast "all up for it" is she spent the whole time crying and complaining. I agree it must be hard for to return but to be honest i dint believe this whole "leaving on medical grounds" rubbish, it sound to me like Paris pulled a sickie trying to get out of it and the they caved in and let the princess out.

Of course. They put her in jail (which I agree with) after halving her sentence to 23 days. She goes willingly. After a few days they let her out. Put her under house arrest for 40 days. Then send her back to court, and put her back in jail for the full term. A complete farce!

This whole "Paris is being so strong what an amazing person" thing is ridiculous. The fact is, she broke the law, and so she should go to prison and serve the whole sentence, like anyone else. She's not anyting special just because she has a rich daddy and the assumption that she's talented. It's good that she's been put back in after the whole crying and complaining thing, and I hope that when she gets out maybe she'll try and do something that's actually productive with her life. It's harsh I know, but I have very strong opinions on people that are famous for...nothing whatsoever.

Totally agree with that. I always look at things in exactly the same way. Put yourself in their shoes and then make a judgment. In this case I obviously don't know what caused the release in the first place and so I shouldn't pre- judge. I just sense that if she has an illness it should probably have been raised earlier, and of course it might have been. It will be interesting to see what its all about.

You see I actually feel sorry for her. Which ever powers that be made the decision that she could be released should be brought to task. She turned up to begin her sentence, then was sent home, then sent back again I think that must be very traumatic and seems a little unfair.

Plus its not like we could ever avoid it, the same structure of liking and being interested in some people more than others happens throughout most parts of life. I'm sure a lot of us would be tempted to go partying lots ect if we had loads of money.

Found this article with pics of her crying in the police car on the Just Jared website:sad:. Click HERE (http://justjared.buzznet.com/2007/06/08/paris-crying/), it's all there!
Paris Back in Prison
Paris Hilton was just ordered to return to prison in Lynwood to serve out the remainder of her sentence.
Reports TMZ: Paris left the courtroom in tears, screaming, “Mom, Mom, Mom” and was “physically dragged” out of the courtroom by a female deputy.
“I’m paralyzed right now,” shocked mom Kathy Hilton said after hearing the news about her daughter.
“She’s doing the best she can. It is what it is and it’s in God’s hands now,” Kathy has said. “It’s out of our hands. There’s nothing we can do.”
Paris served 5 days already, so of the 23-day sentence, she has 18 days left! (She was smart in surrendering herself moments before midnight on Sunday, the first day of her sentence. When she was released on Thursday, it was past midnight. Paris received two full days worth of credit towards her sentence for this. Total up those with the three days served and you get your five).
UPDATE: Big surprise! Paris will appeal her sentence!!

Its that special illness that "rich and famous" people get when they get nicked, or want to be out of jail - only us plebs should actually have to go to jail and pay for our crimes, dontcha know.

No, she was not born "famous"
I'll wager you would walk past her mother and father in the street and not know who they are.
She was not born famous
She was born rich
For most of her life she lived in the anonymity that we have, except with money, like almost all "rich" people do
She wanted fame
Being rich and having that surname helped her get it quickly
So she played on it
She thought, like people of her ilk do that she is above the law, daddys money and legal team could solve anything...
Well, better the spoiled brat dragged kicking and screaming to a jail for a few weeks and maybe learning a lesson than letting her run free, get drunk, get behind the wheel of a car and maybe kill someone next time.
drink driving -- the bitch deserves what she gets and should have gotten longer, and I wonder..... if any of you excusing her are faced with a relative or a friend killed by a drunk driver would you keep excusing her, maybe when she does it again....maybe when she kills someone, will you be arguing that she's really really sorry and stop being harsh on her
Will she learn a lesson ?
I doubt it - her kind never do, until someone gets really hurt or worse, and then what will happen ?
Behnd the scenes daddys people will be there, chequebook in hand trying to make it all go away

I think sadly she is caught up in a battle between the judge and the county sheriff who obviously can not agree. The Sheriff appears to be enjoying his 5 mins of fame.
I agree she is a rich, spoiled little girl who probably did cry and should have been left to serve her sentence BUT she wasnt, they decided to let her go, someone else decided she had to go back, I personally would be traumatised if it happened to me.
Someone has to be accountable for the mistakes made, on this occasion she is the victim of circumstance.

You all know my feelings on Paris so I wont repeat them. Some of you know that I've been arrested and I felt like she clearly feels in those photos and I personally dont care that she's crying. This is what happens when you flout the law. maybe some of the clerical staff are trying to get exposure out of this. So what? That's the price of fame in America. I'm certainly not going to get upset because she's upset.
