i dont think that what happend to emily is correct she said what she said in a sentence not in a nasty way.
charlie is totally two faced how can she sit there and say its fine then today cry and say it offended her its about time she stoped acting to her self in the mirror.

Emily was totally in the wrong. Although i don't believe She is a racist, it still doesn't excuse what it said. At the end of the day it offended people in the house and it offended people outside the house thereofre Emily broke a fundamental rule and BB was right to remove her.

of course its right that emily got kicked out
not only did she break a fundamental house rule, she (more importantly) used probably the most offensive word to a black person against charley
if it wasnt in a nasty way, why did emily say "you ******"
it obviously slipped off her tongue as if she was used to saing it back at home, which is just wrong in my opinion

uh, Charley clearly was not fine at the time, her first remark was that she was SHOCKED and probably still is.
It's completely ridiculous that in the year 2007 someone would think it was ok to go up to a black person and call them the N word. I think Charley has every right to be upset or "milk it" as people are saying.

i completley agree
how do we know she hasnt suffered previous racial abuse, and this is why she is so shocked and keeps discussing the event?

emily was racist - and thats what it comes down to frankly. theres no other way to describe it and as harsh as her punishment was she deserved it - i never disliked emily but after what she said - i think we saw why she was there to make other races feel in the wrong.

Well.....
If you look at it in context and in a little more depth it wasn't necessarily racist.
Racism is a sentiment not a word. I don't think Emily was being racist, rather she was being stupid. it was obvious she was trying to be cool, but she should have realised that it's not cool for a white person to use this term towards a balck person even if it is in a friendly way.
