Breaking news that his restaurant facing collapse putting 1,300 jobs in jeopardy.
Feel sorry for the workers, but Jamie had too many fingeres in too many pies.
Plus he is a knob.

Feel sorry for the workers but not for Jamie Oliver. If there was ever a person to define the meaning of “slimy” it would be him.

They should bring back Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares and feature one of Jamie’s restaurants

:joker:
The restaurant chain has gone bust but I doubt it will have much effect on Jamie himself, he's still raking it in from plenty of other sources

He already had to put millions of his own money into it to save it a little while back.
He got fat on the profits, he turned into a condescending fat twat.

Sad for the employees and hope they can find work quickly elsewhere but Jamie Oliver is a **** that deserves to go out of business.
It's all well and good trying to promote a healthy lifestyle but he does nothing for the fact that eating healthily and organic is often expensive. He's trying to force people to change their habits while not dealing with the fact that people can't always afford to eat the organic options. Plus it should be a choice to begin with.
He's just a twat through and through.

I don't understand his rich people can allow themselves to go bust.
If I was ever making that much money, I'd invest in property and be a landlord on the side. Rent money is much more than mortgages, and the houses and/or apartments could be sold off for retirement or in times of crisis.

13 million seemingly....the fool.

I always feel a bit sorry for people who lose business like this,he has worked hard and no doubt helped a few people along the way, I know we don't like success in this country much, but his workers will also loose work, it's a shame.

Yes you're right Kaz. Jamie has worked very hard over the years and seems to genuinely care about people especially childrens dietary health. Its a real shame to hear this news.

Often when this happens the top people in the company are still drawing 6-figure salaries right up until the moment the company ceases to exist .

Jamie Oliver was a big figure behind wrecking Irn Bru though so I hope he does go personally bust and has to pawn his car for crackers.

...another 1000 job losses, very sad......so many empty business and retail premises in towns atm and they just seem to stand empty for so long ...Jamie highlighted so many unhealthy issues with school meals and was the reason that positive changes began to happen...I have nothing but admiration for him and wish him luck .....
