The Brexit party will present a “full slate” of policy ideas once next week’s European elections are over, Nigel Farage has pledged, as he ramped up his attacks on the BBC following a bad-tempered television interview on Sunday.

Addressing a party rally in West Yorkshire, Farage said that up until the European elections, where his party leads in the polls, he would talk only about Brexit-related matters.

But..brexit. Who cares about owt else.

If a party with no known policies or manifestos wins the election tomorrow then there's no chance that a second referendum would change anything since tomorrow will be proof that people often vote in ignorance. The result will be the same and any trouble that befalls NI will still happen because most voters aren't interested in the ramifications of their decisions which is why every decision thus far has been short sighted.

Brexit is going to be painful, there's no avoiding it now.

I get what Alf is saying in that it's good to show that "the voice of the people" can actually still create ripples in what can sometimes seem like the facade of democracy where nothing actually ever changes.

However it is a shame that "the voice of the people" seems mostly to be the bleating of the fearful and the uneducated who would follow bigots like Tommy Robinson because he's got them worked up about immigration.

Farage will win and it will simply prove that I'm right in saying that voters are mostly uninformed given that a party that refuses to detail it's policies or plans until after the election will win.

European elections results Revealed - The shocking rise in EU elections votes

European election polling stations across the country have reported that turnout for the EU elections was up after millions of Britons visited the polls
to vote on Thursday. Many of the first few councils to report turnout have said there was a marked increase compared to the last election in 2014.
With Theresa May handing in her resignation today and MPs across Parliament calling for movement with the Brexit deadlock, the shocking rise in voters across
the UK wanting there say is not a surprise, but how much has turnout risen?

North East had more leave voters than remain in general in the referendum.
Wonder how this will pan out.
