said she refused to meet the 1922 Committee
they said she has a chance to leave in peace
or they will change the rules to get rid of her.
There are plenty that can stand in ready for President Trump.
Many that were in her cabinet before she gave her speech
say she double crossed them , again.

For crying out loud.
She just looks desperate and foolishly misguided.
She has been PM only of a total farce.
Useless.
There's not a thing to admire at all, for me anyway and I have never liked her, as to her whole premiership.
All PMs make mistakes and bad judgements at times but do get a lot right.
Not this one however, she has been a disaster to her Party and the UK from the start.

I've not a scrap of sympathy for her.
Any compromises from her was coming too late
The things she claimed to have done, as to mental health etc, don't come anywhere near addressing the savage cuts she supported as Home secretary in government.
As for using Grenfell, sick.
Any PM and government would have had to hold an inquiry into that.
As for the emotion at the end.
All that is to me, is she's at last realised her near endless procrastination tactics to hold onto the PM title run out on her.
Good riddance.
Never ever should she have held such high office in the UK.
Sorry, I may seem hard but she has been incompetent from day one.
So no, no sympathy from me to her in the slightest.

The only thing I don't really get.
Is why with the hard-line brexit section of the Conservatives against the withdrawal agreement, along with the bigots of the DUP.
Why Labour didn't abstain in enough numbers in the vote to pass it.
Anything that the hard-line brexit wing of the Conservative party and the DUP are against.
Must have some merit.

Poor woman :( I hope she enjoys her well-deserved pension and title when she leaves office.
I cannot personally wait as much of Eu citizens agree for the UK to leave.
It goes without saying that the UK wants no deal....so why prolong this nonsence?
Why wait untill October...after the last extension its the same as the previous that the Uk can leave before that extension date.
Why waste anyone's time?.
I hope whoever you get as a new Pm walks away on the day he /she is elected.
There is no going back on the backstop! no matter what the DUP or the ERG tell you.
of course in Ireland we would have wanted a deal to withold peace...But if the great British Public renage....what can you do?:shrug:

Actually Owen sums up my thoughts exactly.
This PM has presided over the most cruel and heartless actions against the most vulnerable, sick and disabled.
She's been a despicable PM.
Every word Owen said is fact.
I may be saying different in a few months or years time.
For me this woman is one of the most cruel and hard hearted politically there's ever been.
I've wanted her gone from the day she became Home secretary.
Good riddance to a total waste of space politically.
Her Joan Crawford type emotionally trembling at the end of her resignation speech, almost worth an acting Oscar.

The fact is that the remain side is not as loud as it should be and, bar occassional events like that march, our side is drowned out in the media by crap merchants like farage or johnson.
Look at the EU elections, why remain parties failed to create a voting block?
Anyway, I agree with Lime that Brexit is purely about English nationalism. They don't care about Ireland or Scotland. You'll see soon enough, they will push for no deal and damn Ireland and its peace process. Johnson already said it that UK will leave on 31/10 even if there's no deal.
With respect to the Republic of Ireland, and as a remainer, this isn't about the Republic, it is about the UK. The Republic chose to join the EU and accept all it entails, the UK are leaving, they can't dictate to the UK. If resurgent violence is the expectation of having a border, then it's not a stable peace that currently exists, it's nothing but a sham.

Gove I guess at least stayed in Cabinet.
He did sort of scupper Johnson's hopes last time.
Perhaps he can again.
The only ones, if I was a Conservative and had a vote, I would not want as leader.
Are,. Johnson, Andrea Loathsome and the awful McVey woman.
The ones I think from looking in on this contest, who I think could have the best chance of success, both on brexit and for the Conservatives generally.
Would be.
Rory Stewart.
Matt Hancock.
Then just in my 3rd, Jeremy Hunt.
It will be interesting to read those who strongly support the Conservative party, as to really which candidate, they would like and why.
Once you have a leader, you don't want, it can be a chore getting them to go.
Look at the farcical procrastinated drive to get May out.
Also the same currently in the Labour party too.
There is simply no point in the tories electing yet another remain leader. They tried that, and it failed. Parliament and or the electorate have to choose between a no deal brexit and revoking it. A deal is just not going to happen
