Used to always be Rock FM but not for ages now.

Never listen to the radio at home. When I’m in my car I tend to listen to CD’s mainly. If I had to though it would probably be a pirate station as I don’t really like the main ones Kiss fm etc.

Hardly ever listen to the radio bc Spotify exists but when I do it's miss Radio 1. Used to listen to Capital but since they cancelled the Scottish breakfast show and replaced it with the London one I've stopped out of spite

Normally local bc they play a mixture of new and oldie classics. Someone had Capital on at work the other day rotating like 5 of the same songs and it was a nightmare, literally a NIGHTMARE.

but here the more mainstream radio channels are 538, 3FM

with my Roberts Stream 93i RADIO i can listen to thousands of stations around the world. At this current moment I am listening to News Talk 1520 KOKC Oklahoma to get Tornado news

LOVE the radio, I need it in the car. I could just aux cord my music but I usually just stick to radio cause I'm liking recent music and otherwise I'd miss out on plenty of new bops.
(tbf it's usually stuff I'd hear eventually anyway because mainstream, played everywhere, but still)

- Hot 97 (rap / hip hop / rnb)
- 105.1 (^)
- Z100 (pop - need to hear the latest bops sometimes & to see if SBP or a classic gem is on)
- 103.5 (mix station but mostly pop)

WHAT :joker: They're not that weird from ones I can remember... they're actually usually very simple sounding. Maybe less popular ones have weirder names to them but:

97.1 - Hot 97
100.3 - Z100 (iHeart radio I believe it's called otherwise)
103.5 - KISS FM (couldn't remember, looked it up)
105.1 - Power 105.1 (couldn't remember, looked it up)

Ok when I think about it a lot of stations do just have random letters + the number the station is on lol:

92.3 = KRRL (but more simply called "Real 92.3")
95.5 = WPGC-FM (and idk if there's another name lol)

etc.
