The Green party did great aswell which was a bit of a surprise. I voted for them :hee:

THE WINNERS
Eamon Ryan

Eamon Ryan and the Green Party defied all expectations and made major gains in last Friday’s election. In both the European and local elections the Green Party’s vote has hit record breaking highs.

Former Minister of State Ciaran Cuffe is odds on to top the poll in the Dublin constituency for the European Parliament while Green candidates Saoirse McHugh in Midlands Northwest and Grace O’Sullivan in Ireland South are in the mix for seats.

In Dublin, the party has picked up council seats across the capital and are expected to be a real force on several local authorities.

Can they get a Sea Tide Hydro Going

The UK was doing one
then canceled it due to building cost
not enough backers , then

I hope so, we're in such a good geographical position for that type of renewable energy

Green Party also did well in Germany

and also 3 seats from dutch eu elections for GroenLinks (our dutch green party)

so maybe a bit of hope for climate then to see it represented fairly well in MEPs

Ireland have the best deal in Europe, get to take take take. Allow big companies to avoid tax and give nothing back. Surely they will be backing europe?
