Now I have is surname courtesy of the BBC, a google search brings me here, The Greek Neolithic Figurines (Gerasimos Vallerios Stergiopoulos) (http://ccat.sas.upenn.edu/bmcr/2005/2005-07-85.html)

So it seems his first name is Anglicised from Gerasimos

Gerasimos Vallerios Stergiopoulos leads the line-up, with a useful introduction to Greek Neolithic figurines (7-15) that argues against simplistic interpretations and in favour of the possibility of their having had several meanings and functions, not necessarily connected with cult.

A real intellectual at last!

I think it was obvious how intelligent he was. He is definitely the smartest one in the house and I think that’s why a lot of them didn’t get on too well, I mean look at Tracey and Brian, not the sharpest tools in the shed it’s obvious they would feel intimidated by him.

I’m so annoyed he’s gone. Gerry should still be in that house.

I would like to get a hold of a copy of the paper he delivered

I wonder if he will be able to get his book published now?
