Shaun

I'd rather we focussed on Tierney and Saliba tbh.

Had to laugh at some portions of our fans saying that we don't need Zaha as "Iwobi is better anyway". Delusion is real.

GiRTh
28-06-2019, 07:39 PM
I thought the Tierney deal was done but this as Arsenal so I'll believe when I see him in an Arsenal shirt. Saliba looks good but not gonna get too excited about an 18 year old defender. I remember Bielik, Callum Chambers etc. Same with the 18 year old Brazilian froward we've just signed who's never played in Europe. Both are projects, lets be honest.

I've always rated Zaha and think he'd be perfect. He's in a different league to Iwobi.

Shaun
28-06-2019, 07:45 PM
I'd like to think Chambers will have stepped up enough with his good spell at Fulham to provide ample cover for Bellerin as he recovers in that position, but yeah it's the left and centre we need to worry about

Denver
28-06-2019, 07:46 PM
I thought Chambers was off to West Brom

GiRTh
28-06-2019, 07:52 PM
West Brom can have him if they want. He's not good enough and its been shown over a number of years. We've already had bids for Bielik and it looks like he's going this summer. Out of the two I'd prefer if Bielik stayed but both can go in order to raise funds for future transfers. We need the money.

an update on Fortuna with Joe Ledley, ''gonna be difficult, but they are gonna try everything they can to sign Joe as they say of him as a very experienced international midfielder someone who has potential to be the team captain''

signings for Fortuna so far

- Rasmus Karjalainen (Finland) attacker

- Patrik Raitanen (Finland) defender

- Vitaly Damascan (Moldova) attacker

- Grégoire Amiot (France) defender/midfielder

- Jacky Donkor (Belgium, Ghana) attacker

- Adnan Ugur (Belgium, Morocco) midfielder

- Felix Passlack (Germany) left back/right back

- Alex Carbonell (Spain) midfielder

so now we only need one defender, one midfielder, and maybe one backup attacker

but anyway after some drama, with Dianessy his transfer with AEK failed to push through, our directors had new talks with Djibril and he stays with us, everything is sorted out and he's happy in sittard

Youth should be the golden pot and if they wont make the first team sell them for big why you canI totally agree and its why the selling of Bielik is a step in the right direction for the club. We got too many players that will never play first team and they need to go. Our wage bill is one of the biggest in the Prem. Its not that we have many players on 250k plus, its more that we've got a ton of youngsters and players who are not good enough on 50k-100k a week. Phil Foden at Man City is only on about 30k a week and he plays far more than our youngsters.

I know it's not the Premier League, but I've been keeping track of Bolton Wanderers to see who they're signing and it looks like they're doing okay so far.

Daryl Murphy (Nottingham Forest)
Verlinden (Stoke City)
Liam Bridcutt (Free Agent)
Josh Emmanuel (Ipswich Town)
Will Buckley (Free Agent) I know that he is controversial with some of the Bolton fans, but he scored against us last season so he is gonna be a strong player for League One imo.

I apologize for some of the spelling of some of the players, I am rooting for Bolton to do well this season so I am hoping that these signings work out for them.

Can we appreciate that Liverpool are closing in on one of the stars of the CL Takumi Minamino from Salzburg for a shoddy £7.25m

Its expected he will sign in January

While the other 2 Salzburg front men will move to RB Leizpig and Wolves respectively
