However, I think it was niamh..once manually gave someone something like 2864765562533 points just to see how high we could go :laugh: Used to each try and go a bit higher than each other just to see, until we discovered yes it was possible to give like a million points

I'm gonna give any wannabe mods the BB-esque talk of doom.

Modding is not fun, you don't really get a whole lot of say in what happens and you'll be blamed for everything because people will decide, when they are infracted, that it's your fault specifically because it's easier to do that than it is to accept responsibility for their own actions. It's draining, it often feels like you're fighting against the tide and it's just feels pointless in the end because you won't feel like you are achieving anything, you never feel like you're really helping anyone. What you imagine modding to be is very different to the reality.

A lot of people with negative views on how modding is done on this site would feel very differently if they had to mod some of the things we had to over the last few years.

I'd never choose to do it again and people who want to should think about it very carefully.
