This seems like a decent place to ask, I’ve never seen Lost, is it worth watching? I need a new series to binge :p

It's not perfect (although the first 3/4 seasons are as close to perfect as television gets imo) but it's definitely worth watching at least once. Especially if you don't know all the twists and turns.
Lost was some of the most compelling viewing I've ever seen tbh. It was ahead of its time.

It's a bit soon for a full reboot surely? Lost was great but it didn't end particularly well (though not actually the WORST), and it had some other issues (FAR too much focus on the Kate / Jack / Sawyer triangle that was fun for the first season and then boring). Also a few very promising characters that were introduced only to disappear without ever living up to potential.
But it only ended a few years ago . I think 15 - 20 years at least before a show is rebooted. I'd rather see a soft sequel exploring more of the concept. You could even bring back some old cast members for guest appearances.
I feel largely the same about The Matrix. There NEEDS to be more Matrix, it's such a brilliant sci-fi concept and there is so much more to do with that world, but I'd rather see "semi-reboot" sequels than a full retcon reboot. The obvious way of doing so being to set it hundreds more years in the future with a new "one" emerging, and referencing the events of the original trilogy as canon.

Lost had its time I think. It's sort of been superseded by other serialised shows.

Today is the 20th anniversary of the UK release of The Matrix.
