But I think the whole 'fake' complaint so many people make is a bit of an over-statement, just because he exaggerated himself sometimes. He liked to perform and entertain other housemates, that's not what fake means.

He was just a really predictable winner, you could tell he was going to win on day 1. He also really annoyed me when he spent weeks just sulking around in a bad mood saying nothing, but he is no way the worst winner ever when Helen, the Camerons, Sam and Jason exist

I also don't get why so many people use predictability as a flaw with him either. Brian Dowling, Kate, Nadia, Sophie, Josie and Isabelle were all the obvious winners for a sizable portion of their series so I don't see what the problem is. He had a lot of interesting takes on things, was consistently a very complex housemate, was involved in many storylines, probably my top pick of who I wanted to win out of the BB7 finalists (despite preferring Aisleyne and Nikki to him).
