Would you rather be buried or cremated?

Where would you be buried or have your ashes scattered?

Poll coming up.

Buried. I can't roam the land and eat brains if I'm ashes.

I might even do the same after death!

Cremated.....although my mum was cremated and I wish she had a grave I could visit...

I always feared being buried alive although I would say its pretty impossible these days, once you're embalmed, even if you were alive, that would see you off.

Either.
I've always been more in favour of burial.
There is a place I can be in a family plot.

I'm now not bothered re cremation either.
The ashes can be buried in the same family plot too.

So honestly either for me but I've voted burial.
I love visiting special loved ones memorial gardens, especially my Grandmother's.

Buried or burned, you're chopped up and examined beforehand. So don't worry about it :)

Are you an organ donor Kazanne.:wavey:
Only answer that if you want to.

I am, so I know once I'm gone my valued organs will be out anyway.
So no way I could not be dead.

Yes I am Joey, but if I live to a ripe old age would they still want them ?

If you had healthy organs, yes.
Kidneys for instance.

I don't know if you have noticed too but now funerals seem to take a week or more to be done after the death.
Rather than just around the 3 days it used to.

It's a nice thought you being around to a ripe old age Kazanne.:wavey:

 I better had be Joey and you will be the PM of the day and I know you will look after all us oldies  I have noticed funerals do take longer but I thought that was due to finances and the body having to be kept for some reason, I know its irrational but its one of my greatest fears to be buried alive, I even thought about leaving my body to medical science but that takes a bit of arranging to do, and the 'open body farms' sounds ok.

If there's a clear cause of death, you probably won't be buried alive!

Cremated.
Ashes thrown somewhere beautiful in the Dales.
The thought of worms and maggots crawling over me gives me nightmares.

Oh gosh.
PM of the day, likely never that.:joker:

I have to get into Parliament first.
If things go as they are, there'll possibly be neither big older Party to stand for.:joker:

I have found funerals take at least a week now after death.
Except on some others religions rites.
