Has anyone ever used it and would recommend?
Long story short, I'm leaving my current tenancy at the end of the month and need somewhere to stay for a short term (10-14 days only).
It's difficult to get such a short term let for that period so was thinking of maybe finding a nice Airbnb to stay in for this period but I've never used it before and not sure if it's suitable for a slightly longer stay.
If someone could shed any light on it it will really help.

Yeah Airbnb is really good for short or long-term stays. Every place is different but it'll give you the option of how long to book for and often doesn't have a minimum/maximum time.

I'm going to look into it further, it does sound stress-free

You do need to be careful though a girl friend of mine booked thinking it would be her and the owner and there was no sign of owner , then 2 strange blokes turned up ,it all got uneasy and she left and booked into a hotel for the night, took an age to get her money returned . This was in another country though.
Just to say always pays to be cautious .
