We're halfway through the year so which game/s do you think could end up being your game of the year when all is said and done?

I think my top two is easily Resident Evil 2 and Bloodstained. Resident Evil 2 completely captured my attention and I was obsessed with it, I usually complete a game once and move on since I don't usually have time enough to stick with one game but I completed RE2 multiple times and I've still got the itch to go back for one more playthrough.

Bloodstained is just wonderfully nostalgic and addictive and aside from a few glitches it's a perfect successor to the Castlevania series.

I can't see anything beating Resident Evil 2 for me this year. It has probably become one of my favourite games of all time.

Ugh. 2019 has been dry as a bone so far and it's not looking to get much better. I loved Resi2 and I also greatly enjoyed DMC5, but other than that :umm2:... and the rest of 2019 isn't looking much better.

I have VERY high hopes for 2020 though.

The only 2019 game i’ve played so far is kingdom hearts 3 :worry:

So that by default and even though i’m enjoying it i can’t see it being my GOTY

Dead by Daylight is basically all I play aside from the rare sports game mood these days, so I have to go with that :clap1:

(Oops if it came out in 2018, I have no idea tbh but still feels new to me)

:worry: this is so sad. If I had a physical PS4 copy I'd send it to you but I got it on PC really cheap. Like really, really cheap.

I just realised that Death Stranding will be a 2019 release and if its not my GOTY I'll be so disappointed [emoji26].

That said; I wouldn't be hugely shocked if it gets delayed until early 2020.
