Notification problem

On top of the forum it says Your Notifications: 2

Yet if I click the arrow nothing is highlighted? It's not a big issue but it's bugging me.

..yeah haunted by the ghosts of TiBB members past..:laugh:...I’m not really sure why it happens but it is a thing though...I searched this thread which explains them I think...for me when I had them..?...they wouldn’t go until I deleted all of my PMs completely...and then they were exorcised...but if you don’t want to do that ...and don’t mind having them...they are friendly ghosts...

I've got this as well, it says I have a visitor message but even when I've checked it out, it still shows up as a notification.

You may have it forever, just think of it as a TiBB Tattoo?

On a serious note theres a couple of things you can try...

Log out of the forum, clear the cache of whatever browser you are using then log back in or if it's an app clear the cache on that

Scroll through your PM's and friend requests just in the off chance you genuinely missed one

Clear your entire inbox by checking them all then deleting

Sometimes they randomly go away

I cleared my inbox and it went away. Then two friends requests popped up so it could have been either of the two?

Not to hijack your thread Amy, but the other week I deleted some messages from my inbox and 2 of 6 ghost notifications were deleted

anyway Josy's post reminded me I could delete all the messages to see if that gets rid of my ghost notifications. I did and needless to say I still have 4 :(

Btw you can save tibb messages to your computer/device before emptying your inbox

I've checked but the notifications still haven't gone away, it says I have 4 Visitor Messages :( (and I've checked them but nothing new)

I did that as a text file I think? I doubt I'll ever look at them again, they've been sat there unread for months upon months [emoji23]
