Is anyone else finding this series...

Sorry if this has been posted but...

Is anyone else finding this series so far to have been boring and tedious?

I know its only day 12 but i feel as if nothing has really happened?

The key things that have happened this series:

1. All girl entrance
2. Ziggy comes in
3. Nomination Twist
4. 2 gay guys enter
5. Nomination Twist

If you know what i mean, nothing has really happened?

What do you think?

Yea I know what you mean, It's annoying me as I really wanted to get into this series.

I was starting to not even watch it through most of last week, The new house mates have put a little excitement into it. But hoping it gets better and more entertaining, maybe someone new to replace Lesley?

I dont know if its new housemates they need, i think Big Brother needs to do something BIG to do something to the house, i cant think of what though

I agree, I'm bored already and it's only week 2:sleep: I normally watch the live feed but am not bothering:rolleyes:

If they are going to put the men in slowly then they should at least get some good weekly tasks going now to entertain us:shrug:

Well whats happening with the secret garden and the door in the pool, when will they be showing us that? That might be interesting, and bring somthing new.

How about messing with the housemates heads? lol, or maybe even an eviction, somthing at least.

Will there still be an eviction show next week seeing as Lesley is now gone?

I love it. I think its great. I think the new housemates last night were not needed, I think it would have been better to have a big twist.

I don't think Big Brother has really done much as far as twists and stuff, but the housemates have had many fights and Emily got kicked out.

Not finding it boring.....but do think that we need a twist now just to "mix it up" a bit. Found all the hm's being a bit too nice in the first few days....but now they are showing more of their tru colours.

Loads has happened! For that to happen in just over 1 week along with all the arguing and romance etc. Its been a brillant series so far.

Exactly, i hope the rest of the series is just as good.

Last year week 1 was AMAZING, but i felt throughout the rest it wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

I've seen much much worse starts than this and I say this ranks as one of the better starts.

IMO this has been a poor start. It would be interesting to get stats of viewing figures over the 8 series as well as the demographic of those who think 'its great!'

I have missed much of the nightly shows but when I do watch I realise that I havent missed much. The girlie thing is annoying and predictable. The intro of men should have livened things up a bit but since they gave us Cliff Richard and 2 gays; the nature of the house is still way too girly.

Too many of theHMs are so similar in character and it worries me that they represent how so many young girls expect 'women' to be and behave. Not me!! I spent my professional life trying to tell girls that they dont have to conform to be like this pattern for womanhood that is so often seen on BB.

No wonder that people who dont fit this pattern find the house difficult: Lesley and Tracey. I didnt think I would be rooting for Tracey but at least she is herself.

No I havent been impressed with this series - yet...... So come on producers. Do something!

yep the live feed isboring, the new guys are boring, lets face it bb4 was more exciting in its choice of housemates. we needed two gay guys in there like a hole in the head.

I like women but to much gilriness is boring...
No real men in the BB house. Ziggy wants to run away from female conflict he just wants an adventure holiday along with a holiday romance...All very boring.......

Why do i watch it.......I live in hope as its early days but I am not optimistic things will change very much.....

I have spent some time posting here because I am bored watching the the E4 coverage.....

That's why I mentioned the reason for me continuing to watch hoping to stop anyone saying to me "Why are you watching it then". We can all live in hope sometimes..:bigsmile:

I agree.I think that it's the housemates that are boring and tedious..They are all without personality.Except for Tracey maybe,but then again..she doesn't really do anything fun in there..they all just sleep,smoke,eat and then sleep again.Oh and they argue from time to time.It's so annoying,they don't do anything fun!

I think it's been good so far. That said, it is a slow starting series and will improve.

I think the reason people are saying it's boring is because they're too used to big things happening in the first week in BB6 and 7. Personally I like the more relaxed vibe, but I can tell things are building up.

Yea the Twins found a secret door in the swimming pool, the told the other housemates but no one seemed bothered about it.

In the paper a while ago there was an article about a secret door in the pool (this was written before the twins found it) and apparently it leads to secrets on the other side – so I assume you’d have to swim through it and pop up the other side.

I don't think the mix is quite right so far and that's making it not such an interesting series, you need clashes of personalities and people with different interests to spark things off but too many of them are very similar and it can just turn into petty arguments when they actually do happen, some of the housemates have little substance and there's not many of them with really good sense's of humour either.
