A friend of the couple, who wed in May, said: "Amy told me they egg each other on." The pal revealed how the troubled star:
* CUTS herself to ward off depression and cope with the pressures of fame — because self-harming makes her "feel alive";
* HACKED at her arm with a broken champagne glass on a US tour;
* SLASHED a tattoo of Blake's name over her left breast during their stormy courtship and;
* RAZORED herself to CELEBRATE getting back together with him after one of their rows.
The pal added: "She'd never admit to the hold Blake has over her. She does it to emulate him, to copy him, and that's dangerous."

Amy's father Mitch also hinted at his fears for the Rehab star, now taking America by storm with her album Back To Black.
He said: "She has spoken about self-harming. There are a couple of things where I wish she was a bit more careful. She's 23 and these things happen."
Her pal rubbished the claims that hard-drinking Amy only self-harmed at the age of nine when her parents split.
The friend revealed: "Privately she's said she cut herself because of work pressure. She's struggled with depression and says a blade piercing her skin makes her feel alive.
"She's worried fans and record company bosses will think she's a nutter — but it doesn't stop her.
"Once Amy cut herself with a broken champagne glass while touring America. That coincided with her seeing Blake again and he was self-harming too.
"Then she cut wildly at her tattoo of him as a sign that he was hurting her by cheating on her. She also slashed her cheek to get out of a TV appearance."
Our source also revealed how alarmingly Amy reacted when she and Blake were reunited earlier this year.
"She slashed her arms with a razor. There was blood everywhere. That's what she did when they were back together!"
Amy got engaged to Blake, 24, in April after a drunken night out. He proposed to her at their north London flat. They married in a secret ceremony in Miami last month.
In between, Amy admitted to self-harming as a child. She said: "It's a funny thing, a morbid curiosity. I'm talking about when I was nine. What does that feel like? Ow, that *********g hurts! That's probably the worst thing I've ever done."

Amy has explained in the past how she found having tattoos "relieving".
She said: "It's a way of suffering for the things that mean a lot to you. I like the pain. To me, it relieves you."

The friend said: "We hoped they'd calm down now they're married. But the problems are as bad as ever... for both of them. It's incredibly worrying."
